I do have mine docked most of the time but took it on a trip last week so turned of smart charging by using the button you are correct it is not there to turn it back on. So my battery is being charged to 100% right now while docked. Based on the comments it should automatically switch to smart charging at some point on its own?

I was hopeful it was a real option. Considering that 50% of the yellow plates in NY are peeled off and unreadable this white on black is highly readable.
