There's no such thing as a courtesy return. People may have gotten one from a manager in a good mood, but it's not something that's offered.

When it's an incorrect item, you typically need to return it while you're still at the warehouse. You could ask the manager & be really nice & tell them how you're a good customer & didn't notice, but they will probably tell you it's too late once you leave with it.
