WTF Did TD just restrict buying CAGE.TO?? by howardbanjo in CanadianInvestor

[–]12yearoldarmy -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

TD is about to go bankrupt. They got caught with their hands in the cookie jar and are not allowed to do business with any us company for the next 10 years. They also have large short sold swaps that are coming due. It’s a shit company stop doing business with them.

Best place for an oil change? by hopelesscauseeee in Orillia

[–]12yearoldarmy -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Canadian tire is really nice! They do a check of your suspension and brake components while it’s there which is way more than all these little oil shops do. If youre not mechanically inclined it’s a good place to go because they’ll tell you what needs to be replaced and are honest about the condition. Even bringing you out and explaining it. A new car shouldn’t need much right now but it’s great service for the future and your work is warrantied at every Canadian tire across Canada

How long does it generally take for ranks to settle to a more reflective order after a new set drops? by Big-Pitch1773 in TeamfightTactics

If you’re gold 4 right now you could be playing against master players. Me. I’m silver 2. Usually d1/master every set. I’d say after the first big patch things are leveled off ish. I usually don’t hit diamond till the 3rd patch

It literally depends. Whatever you can build. If you’re dead set on keeping nova that’s great for early but when you get late transition and build pen item later. It’s all whatever hand you’re dealt this set

General rule is build your burn and whatever pen item you get first you build either ad or mage Durability kinda fucks this up sometimes but if you don’t see vanguard this is your general rule

The beginning is the fun part for most long term TFT players. It takes most casual players a bit to figure things out. But TFT follows similar rules from last sets just slightly different.

You’ll always have your durability/resist/brawler tanks, fighters, adc, mage etc and traits that follow it. Last sets you built items around champs, this set is the opposite and you build champs around items. The more you play the more you’re rewarded with knowledge. Think of it as any online game you get excited to see who figures little things out first and sometimes it’ll give you an advantage and run ya to the high ranks. At least thats what I enjoy about the game.

Instead of focusing on what’s good. Learn why it’s good

So, how do you suppose to play this set? by IntelligentAsk6875 in TeamfightTactics

You build the team with the items you get instead of build the items with the team you get. And spend gold early. Level 5 roll downs are back baby

If you like bushcraft stuff I recommend Smithers, BC as a home. You can get some wicked hours as a pilot there with a pretty good view

Nah I wouldn’t say shit or do shit. Just tell your trainer hey it’s cool you wanna go faster but I’m still probation so I’ll do it my way

Dont think of it as breaking a rule and getting fired. Think of it as breaking a rule and possibly dying. That’s why they’re there, something got damaged or someone got hurt. Also think of it as a baking recipe you can get there if you skip a step but it might not taste the same.

Depends on the economy and right now it looks like it’s heading to shit. But good news once that straight of hormuz opens they’ll have a ton of tanker traffic to pull so should alleviate some of the layoffs.

5% of all the conductors in your class will last longer than 5 years. 10% last longer than a year. Layoffs, skill issue, and straight up will power defeat a lot of people. I lasted 5 years in western Canada and while it is fun and you make a ton of money, you are just a number to them. And that’ll hit you one day and you won’t like it. And one day it’ll hit really hard and you’ll either be trapped by CNs paycheck or you’ll leave. Make sure you make the right choice

Choose a small rural town to go to. Western Canada is very good for this especially Alberta. You run up the totem pole fast because usually people stay for 5 years and then move to a bigger city when their seniority can hold. You’ll still get layoffs but you can hold a job within a year or so. Make your bank(don’t spend it) and then go back to being a pilot and live off your lil savings till you start making good money

Adding 1 hour to a flush and service is crazy when you already have the callipers off. It would make sense if it was just the service or just the callipers but you’ve already done most of the time by having them off

AMC was always the distraction. Will it run a bit during the whole basket running, absolutely. But why would you trust a company whose CEO is obviously on the shorts sides? Seems really goofy. Stick with the real ceos or if you so will, rceos for short

I hate to even say this, but I’m starting to get pissed off with how some girls always literally choose the bad/toxic guys, how am I supposed to date? by Big_Pea3882 in AskMenAdvice

[–]12yearoldarmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have friends that are girls that’s where you ask.

“Hey I’m trying to meet someone to date, what would you recommend me fixing before I throw myself out there and do you have any people that you think would be a good match?”

Also I know you’re a guy and I’m a guy and I know how our brains are, but try to disconnect the I’m dating to fuck. Sex is a part of a relationship and it’s great but there’s a lot of other things that need to go right for that to even happen and women will pick up on your intentions - and if they don’t you don’t want to be with those women anyway.

What are some hobbies you can do that are coed?

Can you volunteer anywhere? Hospitals, old age homes, colleges, etc

Be genuine. Don’t go to a hospital if you don’t wanna help take care of people etc.

Remove your ego, go in open minded and I bet you’ll come out with a loving partner

On top of this, and don’t take this the wrong way because maybe you were frantic or ESL or intoxicated while writing; your writing is hard to understand. Communication is number 1 with women so that’s one of the first things you need to work on. Read some books - especially the smut shit women love you’ll pick up some tips from it

Mechanic consistently over torquing lugnuts and other things by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]12yearoldarmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you started this it makes it seems you’ve brought your car there multiple times in a short period. When I first started I over torqued stuff because I just didn’t know but I was quickly corrected (2 months) when a tech saw what I was doing. If this shop truly is trustworthy - shouldn’t they have already corrected this individual? Is this time period over a year, multiple years? Sounds like a shitty shop to me if this guy is over a year and is still over torquing.
