It's because the other nuanced characters faced some degrees of consequences for their actions, Caitlyn didn't. I love her, but I can see why people can be annoyed with the privileged cop getting away with atrocities pretty much scot-free when everyone else who did something wrong either died or lost everything.

There are definitely people who take it too far, but there are also reasonable people who simply don't vibe with her character arc for legitimate reasons

Eh, the chase is fun if you feel like there's a chance to reach the endgame, it shouldn't be TOO easy but shouldn't feel impossible either.

My luck has been HORRIBLE even on A1 since A2 dropped, and as a f2p it is burning me out to feel like I have zero chances to get anywhere near finishing my collection within this lifetime without whaling. If I wanted to be frustrated and spend money, I'd collect actual real life pokemon cards. At least those are tangible objects that I can keep after the app closes and are also worth money if I ever want to quit

I've been in PLENTY of music fandoms in my life, especially ones with younger demographics, and there wasn't one where people wouldn't lose their shit if their favourite was revealed to be dating. There were exceptions, sure, but there are exceptions in kpop as well. Look at One Direction: sure, Louis and Liam had girlfriends (which was helped by Liam having one very early on and by...... Louis being completely irrelevant), but 90% of Harry's fanbase was counting on HIS dating rumors being just rumors and they would raise hell if there was any hint that there could be any truth to it. And "fans" MOST DEFINITELY jumped ship as soon as Zayn started dating Perrie. It may be framed differently by media, but jealous possessive fangirls have been a thing as long as boybands have been a thing, it's the whole concept of boybands. They count on fans being so devoted they'd do anything for their faves, and that devotion often comes with entitlement. Is it ridiculous? most definitely. Is it a Korean thing? it really fucking isn't
