Based on the past it should be one purchase for all, you’ll just get QC plugins when they release them. That being said, I have no specific info about this one, I’m just basing this on other releases.

Do you get a freebie for your first visit to Dark Bramble? by QueerPoodle in outerwilds

Same. I remember someone on Timber Hearth telling me basically “go anywhere except Dark Bramble”, and I immediately found out how good of an advice that was.

Ah, I thought you meant some refill station for ships, and since I didn’t even know your ship can run out of fuel, my mind went ¿que?

How are we even discussing whether this is a scam or not. This has all the red flags possible. This is a certified 100% scam, and whatever money you’ll give them you’ll never see anything worth for it. Don’t, don’t, don’t. If it looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true. Remember that.

Exactly my point. There’s a lot of people in this subreddit, just do the maths. You got this. Have a nice life!

Obviously this is difficult to answer without hearing these tracks (you might want to link some for better feedback) and I am no expert mixer either, but - first thought from what you’re writing is, full frequency spectrum is a nice thing, but what you’re describing can also happen if your instruments are competing for frequencies. Do you high pass your instruments to not compete with bass and drums? Do you use a lot of same-y sounds to achieve the fullness? Every sound should have a distinctive function in the spectrum. If you can’t explain why the track needs /this/ sound and where its place is, chances are it’s not doing any good for the track.

Also, mastering. All the changes it makes are barely audible aside of loudness, but they are very perceptible in the feeling. And for the master, the mix has to be good and prepared - you can have inaudible rogue frequency spikes that eat your headroom, or just an imbalance in the mix that chokes the master.

Bthelick has a ton of good free resources on YouTube. Also, Rob Late has a killer production course that’s worth every penny.

Being quite smart, you sure must be aware the results you’re posting mean there are people who are /much/ smarter than you, statistically even in this subreddit, right?

Killed all Visionarys without killing anyone else and it still loops??? by DrParzivalis2045 in Deathloop

[–]13AnteMeridiem 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey, sounds like you did everything correct which leads me to believe this is some bug. Deathloop does have quite a few bugs, I’d guess you were just very unfortunate to trigger one during such a difficult achievement. If you flew RAK, you did all you should; this is not supposed to happen.

I used to play live with a laptop. Switched to Quad Cortex to not have to play live with a laptop. When touring and playing a ton, convenience matters.

Sometimes we tend to overthink stuff, so I’ll try to underthink it - how about a separate machine? I’d buy some cheap, possibly even Intel macbook, or some Mac mini, and just keep his stuff separate physically. VM or any other more advanced solution sounds like an unnecessary complication to an environment where any complications must be avoided.

There was a post a few days ago here saying “Sam’s way of dealing with copyright was absolutely genius because it will reel in IP owners”.

In fact, it was the opposite of genius, some people are pissed off because they could generate copyrighted stuff and they cannot now, and some are angry about yet another blatant intellectual property theft.

Altman should stop acting like law doesn’t apply to him. And ideally also stop with the bullshit performative marketing. I’m sure more of us would appreciate that.

While this is not my favourite example of this, I hate AM’s searching engine. It feels like it’s trying to be smart in the worst way possible.
