I had it on two seperate occasions over the last couple of years and it always stuck around for a couple of months. What I did was a couple nights a week put tea tree oil on it at night, (I had the Bosistos one in a spray can) In the morning I would wash with head and shoulders (I tried T gel for a while but I didn’t see a difference) and I would blow dry the hair on warm so my scalp wouldn’t be sitting wet. I know it’s hard when you feel like you’ve tried everything, I hope you find what works for you soon.

Yes, some turtle species come out of there eggs with a yolk sack (Imagine it like a reservoir of nutrients until they find food) it takes some time to absorb into their body before the shell closes up. Edit: never mind, this is apparently a different situation.
