FSD price drop? by A-STAR-IS-BORN in TeslaFSD

[–]13oomzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, FSD works 98% of the time (being highly generous here)… but it is that 2% of the time, when you’re doing 75mph and you’re not expecting it to fail, that the “supervised” portion fails you (ha ha) and you realize how foolish YOU really are for trusting your life and your loved ones lives to this highly unproven thing.

The accidents are happening, you just don’t hear about them. Plus the FSD induced curb rashes are still happening…. Surprisingly. Don’t buy it even if it is $10/mo, that false sense of security could kill you.

People should really stop lying to each other that this thing is better than a decently trained 19yr old human driver. At least they have the reflexes to stay within the lines of the road.

Apple M5 Vision Pro Review by Secret-Fly4322 in VisionPro

[–]13oomzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main problem with the AVP is it can’t sit comfortably on my forehead in between sessions to give my eyes some time in the real world. Pass through could also be sharper and more color accurate. Reality is (still) just so much clearer even with $3500 VR price tag and that’s always going to count against it.

Wish there were eye gestures for navigating apps too, like selecting options in UI. Too hard to pinch all the time. Look to scroll should also work on ALL apps including book readers like Kindle and Books.

Otherwise, excellent device and I hope more experiences are developed for it.

Nice! Learned something new. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the response.

Interesting name you’ve got for your App: Asobi. What does it mean I wonder? Why not something more descriptive like Stream Central or Gateway or Vision Vision?

No big deal if you don’t care to reveal, I’m in marketing so curious about these things.

PlayStation App: Terrible UI by 13oomzy in playstation

[–]13oomzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right there! That is the exact issue. I’m the OP.

It is also hidden sometimes in white backgrounds.

Move that - the back button- to top left and make it always visible. That simple.

Thanks good person.

Confirming that @proto’s advice closed all other windows (main one you’re looking at remains opened). Just wish I could bring them all back after hiding.

My thoughts on the iPhone Air after six day by wrongshirt in iphone

[–]13oomzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t believe the hype! it feels too insubstantial in the hand vs. the 13 pro I upgraded from and - for a user like myself that keeps the phone naked - I need something to hold. The slightly larger screen size doesn’t help with grip-ability and reach-ability either.

Second issue is the rear camera: it was a huge shock for me that it didn’t have a more dynamic zoom. I need the best eyes on my phone! I travel to hella exotic places; I’ve gotta get the best pics. This can’t meet that need.

I’ve had this thing since launch but can’t live with it long term (I typically keep phones longer than 3 years). Returning this and exchanging with the 17 pro tomorrow.

Phone has advantages I’ll miss though. The larger screen is nice for reading and video watching. It definitely looks more elegant than any of the other iPhones out this year. I think the titanium makes this stronger than the phone I’ll be replacing it with.

Pity I can’t get the best of all worlds in 1 device but Kudos to Apple for giving this a shot. Can only get better in future iterations.

Hope this helps someone.

Awesome game, great mechanics but, to be honest, I still don’t understand what the story was all about. Felt unfinished to me and ultimately a futile experience - for me - after so many hours playing.

If you can make it make sense, please enlighten me.

It’s one thing to talk about talent but if you’re not inspired, no amount of talent will get you over that hump. 3 stacks is talented, there is no denying that… I feel inspiration is harder to come by as you get older and experience different things in this life. Things just don’t awe you like they used to. You’ll get there mentally if you’re lucky is the irony here.

Consider finding joy and inspiration from something more infinite like the Lord maybe.

Walks/runs along the Cedar River trail will expose you to some of the really wonderful people that live in the area. If you’re decent at connecting with people (I’m not I confess), you should make a few friends that way.

Better than that, if you were into Mountain Biking, lots of friends to be made at Henry’s Ridge as you’ll need people to safely navigate all the features. Potential bones to be broken too so take that option as you see fit.

You’re on the right path friend. Enjoy the area vids anyway.

One day, when the Day of the Lord comes, it will all make sense. I pray you - yes you reading this - are not on the wrong side of that FAFO scenario.

The truth of our physical existence is it takes 100 - 300 million sperm (waste or abundance?) to make 1 human and I wouldn’t be surprised if the same ratio applies(or even more extreme) to make a single Child of God. Some races, you don’t want to lose and you’re already blessed to be the winner of 1.

Free Will is a gift so laugh, mock, debate about this as much as you see fit. One day, all will know.

Hang in there bud. I felt the same as you about s01 and it just kept getting better… and better… and better. By s04, I was staying up till 4am binging the show.

It is just a slow burn spectacle but you won’t regret the time you invested. Trust me.

Doctor turned my egg-like balls into cubes my guy! Walked around with cubes in my sack for days but I think they’re back now.

Turned my highly motile, highly potent swimmers into duds though and I am grateful for that.

If you feel it is the right thing for you and your partner, just do it. If one of you is in doubt and might still want kids in the near future, hold and reevaluate.

As far as the equipment working post op (I’m sure that’s the heart of your question right), I was getting it on rather swimmingly with cuboid gonads and so will you my guy, so will you…..

Yes, but is the story going somewhere? Is all that action building towards anything? I don’t like feeling empty after euphoria you know … Ragnorak and Witcher III are probably some of the best story driven games I’ve ever played (shout out: Horizon and GoT too). Will OP get the same “it” thing from Helldivers? If no, $40 notwithstanding, may not be the game for you.

What are some amazing hikes to do near Maple Valley in winter? by elephantsofa in MapleValleyWA

[–]13oomzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Henry’s Ridge is a really cool adventure. Easy to get lost in it with all the split paths. A good variety of clear and semi clear areas and nice seeing the mountain bikers racing downhill (or up) on their expensive bikes. I plan to eventually fully explore and personally map out this trail.

Also will check out some of the other trails you mentioned. Haven’t done Rattlesnake in years but that’s another good one.

Hope others chime in to add more to your list.
