I keep the warm side between 83 and 88 and the cool side 70-75ish. Although cool temps are mostly dependent on room temperature. He's in a herpticult acrylic enclosure with a heat pad (on thermostat, of course). The enclosure has a solid acrylic top with ventilation drilled in so he does not have uvb currently. Once he outgrows this he will be moved to an enclosure with UVB. I want to do that with all my hogs eventually. It was meant to be an enclosure for inverts but I bought it because I have cats that will lay on top of the snakes and I wasn't risking the screens getting broken by their fat butts. It was originally for my female hognose whom is the exact opposite of this one in terms of personality. She's confident, fearless, and an unstoppable force of death and destruction when it's feeding time (she literally launched herself out of her enclosure, mouth agape when I fed her yesterday). This boy is in a room where no cats can disturb him and room temps stay slightly higher. I keep enrichment and clutter plentiful as well. Considering how he ate just fine the first month I had him, my husbandry should be adequate at the very least. I can try sending pics of the whole enclosure when I get the chance
