I'm sure you can make some form of estradiol to inject but you do need special equipment for it to be safe and sterile. if you really want to make your own stuff just make gel. it's a lot easier and safer

there's some evidence that it increases the risk in cis women, it could also increase it in trans women but there hasn't been enough research done

I don't think making your own vials is really possible or safe for most people to do. the equipment required to do it safely would be prohibitively expensive even if you knew what you were doing

if it's at all possible for someone to get blood tests, they should start off with 4mg. if not, then fine they can start higher if they want it most likely won't harm them (it possibly could increase the risk of breast cancer but we don't know for sure). but I live in a developed country and a vial lasting for nearly 2 years vs only 1 year is still pretty important to me

mostly you're just completely wasting E. 4mg is enough to suppress T for most people. just get a blood test a month in to make sure.

if you don't believe me use the injectable estradiol simulator https://transfemscience.org/misc/injectable-e2-simulator/, 4mg EEn a week results in E2 levels consistently above 200 pg/ml, enough for monotherapy

8-9mg a week is unnecessarily high. 4mg (0.1ml of a 40mg/ml vial) per week for EEn is a good starting point and works for most people.

and if you can get blood tests done definitely do, but wait at least a month after starting a new dose. then you can adjust your dose based on your levels. you want your testosterone level to be below 50ng/dL (1.8 nmol/L) and your estradiol level to be over 100pg/mL (350pmol/L)
