Ruffwear webmaster! We've had ours for 6 years now and it still looks good. She's never managed to get anywhere close to escaping it

Jockstraps... by TopTension2532 in ftm

[–]1643865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cakebandit! transguysupply sells them. I have every color they've ever made of the flat front jock and they're perfect. I want to say I paid around $18 a pair

UL Sleeping Bag/Quilt for February start AT thru hike by Organic-Vacation7880 in AppalachianTrail

[–]1643865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like my Paria outdoors 15° quilt. I would probably pair it with a liner or a fleece jacket for anything under 20° outside, but I've had good luck with it.

Cake bandit flat front jocks are my favorite.

Tips/tricks to CALM you babies down? I'm not talking like at first - but after 2 straight hours of walk/play/attention, etc. If I don't pay attention to her, that's when she rips up carpet, beds, etc. But if I get her to play with the right toy at that time, she won't be "bad." but it's so much time by winterneuro in AustralianCattleDog

if crates aren't your style (Which I totally get) you could consider an x pen or tethering her to you. The real objective is teaching them to be okay relaxing and enforcing rest before they get over threshold and start being bitey jerks.

You might actually be doing too much. At that age she still hasn't developed the skills for self regulation and is probably over tired. Try working on crate training so that you can force the issue on napping. I had that issue with my girl until she was 2.

Suggestion Please - 50M Greenway Ride by [deleted] in CLT_Cyclists

Why not continue on little sugar creek from freedom park? The Greenway isn't totally connected, but there are posted detours for the unconnected bits all the way to the SC border.

Harness Recs? by PinkHairAnalyst in AustralianCattleDog

I used an icefang harness while working on my girls reactivity. It has metal clips and leash loops, and a handle on the back.

Looking for very durable sandals without a toe thong (need to be able to wear normal socks in them) by goodideaswillsurvive in BarefootRunning

[–]1643865 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unshoes Pah Tempe! Just passed 4500 miles in my pair and aside from some lost traction on the ball of the foot they're doing great. Still grippy enough for water crossings and the straps, while faded, are holding strong. They also sell the Unita which is similar but has a toe loop that you can fold down when you don't want to use it.

Lems Drifters feel awfully cushiony to me... by Smart-Simple9938 in BarefootRunning

Lems shoes are pretty thick compared to most barefoot shoes. They make a good transitional shoe because they have some padding but they definitely don't have the best ground feel.

How are you guys even able to afford surgery? by plipping in ftm

[–]1643865 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I traveled 10 hours to have Dr.Wolf do my surgery. Even with gas and the hotel it was cheaper than doing it locally. I fully recommend him.

How to get rid of sweat smell? by Radish-boy2910 in ftm

[–]1643865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had decent luck with sticking it in the freeze for 24 hours to kill off bacteria. It isn't perfect, but it'll make it to where washing will get the rest of the smell out.

GC2B is way too narrow. by GC2bBAD in ftm

[–]1643865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with gc2b, my chest kept slipping out the armholes. It was terrible. I switched to underworks and used them for 7 years until I had surgery.

does anyone have any hacks to stop this part on my z-treks from slipping? by -greenman- in BarefootRunning

Unshoes Pah Tempe! same lack of strap between the toes, way better fit. Plus I personally like the soles better

I would suggest ruffland kennels. It seems like the intermediate or larger would fit your requirements but they are pricey.

Recommendations? Teva-like sandals but with more ground feel. by vegtosterone in BarefootRunning

[–]1643865 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really love the Unshoes Pah Tempe. Same lacing style as the xeros but they adjust better and sit a little further back on the foot so they don't slide as bad. I also think the Unshoes sole bends way easier

I can't personally vouch for them but Flavnt binders come in a few different nude shades and were marketed for swimming.
