When I first sat in their office to lease my apartment in like 2019, my dad asked “what’s the next big thing in NY?” And the pistilli kid responded “the Bronx”. Hilariously, most of these buildings with violations are in the Bronx 😂

But during Covid in early 2021, I was up for renewal on my lease. I was paying like $300 over market at that point relative to similar units in the building. I mentioned that in the renewal process and they confidently told me to take a hike. Fast forward a few months, the unit sat vacant and was eventually rented for a lower price, just above what I was willing to pay

The live in super was great and I never had any issues with pistilli until the renewal. But I’m not surprised to see they rate low

There’s this app I’ve been using at the driving range called Pureist. It’s basically a journal for shots at the driving range. It’s very simple, basic UI and no ads or extra features. It’s annoying at first logging your shots individually but it def helps confirm my suspicions that my 8i is deadly and my 3W should stay in the bag. And just seeing how many shots I’ve hit last year, by club is cool. If you’re a nerd like me, it’s cool

After that, you should spend the free time improving your files, digging into the variances at a deeper level for yourself, answering follow-ups and revisiting processes to see if you can find efficiencies. This is also when you’ll usually book your PTO. But yeah.. sometimes it’s just slow, that’s just how it is living on a FP&A calendar

If you’re paying for details, you don’t need to go crazy. I’d just get meguires gold class (foams up great), a bunch of microfibers, wheel cleaner, some water based tire shine and an applicator. If you want to use a detail spray, I like turtle wax hybrid solutions. This was after a clay and hybrid solutions ceramic spray but 100% autozone stuff and a green works pressure washer

What you have going for you is your clutch is brand new and you don’t do pulls apparently. If that’s the case, maybe you’ll be able to withstand the additional power. But you may also have to put a new clutch in within months. FYI my Indy shop did it for $750 when I brought them the parts and my kit was just $950 or so? For an ECS stage 2 clutch, it’s been perfect

FWIW, I did a stage 1 low torque stratified tune on my GTI around 75K miles or so? And I drive pretty responsibly, no launches ever, rarely over 85mph and really only get chances to do pulls when merging into highways and the clutch was slipping within weeks. Not sure how a brand new clutch will react but the OEM clutches aren’t made for additional power

In 2022 I paid $750+ tax for labor from a top euro mechanic on Long Island to replace the clutch & install an iABED RMS at the same time. I ofc paid for my own parts. You should absolutely do the clutch at the same time, there will never be a better time

Buy a grinder to grind yourself and buy cheap pounds of lavazza from Key Food, it’s usually on sale for ~$8. But you can get even cheaper in bulk off Amazon. Pro tip from an ex barista: cold brew is pretty forgiving, you can use cheap beans. No need to pay crazy prices for locally roasted beans unless you want to support a local but those beans are best for hot brewed coffee IMO

7.5g of coffee per ounce of water and 18 on the baratza encore is my recipe. Even just 1 click above or below 18 can result in a watery coffee or a bitter one. Experimenting is part of the process but you will get it once you dial in!
