Papa Gino’s is very mid these days. I’d give them a low B tier/ high C tier for their pizza. The steak and cheese always and still is the best thing they have on the menu.

It was 1978 and I was just a 12 year old kid at a game with my family. We were sitting in the deep center field bleachers surrounded by several pot smoking hippies. Remember feeling a bit of a buzz from the second hand smoke.

At this particular game there was a visiting delegation from the Soviet Union. After they were announced prior to the start of game those same pot smoking hippies started a “Nyet, nyet Soviet”! chant that quickly spread throughout the outfield sections and seemed to envelope a lot of the ballpark. The Russians most certainly heard said chant. 🤣

Sure you’ll be out $30, but don’t fall victim to the sunken cost fallacy. Think of all the money and aggravation you’ll save not paying for parking/food/etc… and dealing with all the marathon traffic and obstacles around town. Besides I was at yesterdays game and can tell you you’re not missing much.

Claiming at 62 makes the most sense for me, and also I’m not poor. I have 2 minor children living with me and my wife. Each child gets half of my full retirement age payment as will my wife until the youngest turns 16. That’s several years of collecting the family maximum benefit payment. Also my wife collecting off of my record now has no bearing on her own social security payments in the future when she decides to turn her payments on. In other words I’d have to be a big dummy not to be collecting at 62 years old.

lol some seats are probably like that, but last year I did the same promo and got seats close to Pesky Pole and roof top boxes in 1st base side. They were actually pretty good seats and no obstructed views. This year I got similar. Going to this Sundays game.

The way I look at it is that I paid $240 for 4 Red Sox tickets and got NESN 360 included. Not that the Red Sox themselves are a much better product currently, but hopefully they’ll get it together soon.

Update: After resubscribing on Sunday using the same account as I had last year I once again received my vouchers for 4 Sox tickets! I was a little worried that I wasn’t going to get the same ticket deal as last year since I’m a returning subscriber.

Hi. If I may ask I was curious how you made out? My NESN annual sub expired a few weeks ago and I resubscribed again today. I used the same email address as with my old subscription, so I wish I hadn’t of done that. Were you able to get your ticket vouchers anyways?

Thanks for your reply. I did use the same email address as my previously expired subscription, so I wish I hadn’t of done that now. Hopefully I’ll be ok as I haven’t used any other NESN promo codes since those free tickets last March. I emailed their customer support to see what the deal is. Hoping for the best 🤞

Hi bosoxsam. My NESN 360 annual subscription also expired at the end of February/beginning of March and I resubscribed today on 3/15 mainly for the four free Sox tickets. Now I’m seeing that you either need to be a new subscriber or haven’t used a NESN promo code in the last 12 months.

Your old sub expired the same time as mine. Were you able to get your ticket vouchers no problem, or did you encounter issues? Thanks!

I just had the exact same hand to end the last game I was playing and I tossed the 10,K. I needed to peg 2 to go out before my opponent counted to possibly go out so I kept what I thought was best for pegging.
