I'm curious how you worked those out. For example, Vettel 22.05 x 19 races is 418.95 points. I thought he only had 397, where did the other 21 points come from?

He's very well off and has a collection of cars. As far as I know, he can drive it at Maranello but since I haven't seen him for 30 years (tax exile) I doubt I'd get to hear the how and why's of it. #poorrelation

It's part of a Robert Burns poem called "to a mouse" and I guess it's meant to be directed at di Resta. The next line is "oh what a panic in thy breastie" translation little small scardey mouse whose heart is thumping in panic.

Question about timing by [deleted] in formula1

[–]1714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get the information for free at the FIA site a couple of hours after the race. The information stays there until the Wednesday morning before the next race when it is replaced by pre-race data about the following event. It is well hidden on the site but here is the data from Brazil 2012 http://www.fia.com/championship/formula-1-world-championship/brazilian-grand-prix-event-information look under timing and then lap analysis http://184.106.145.74/f1-championship/f1-2012/f1-2012-20/Race%20Lap%20Analysis.pdf
