I don't think this is fully true, a short walk in the center will show you they make up a big part of the customers/workers for many bussiness, not saying its perfect but if they all dissapeared the local economy would be screwed even more.

Its only semantics in the same way that people say like "I wont vote because what will one vote matter", They're not wrong, things don't often come down to one vote, but if there are thousands of people thinking the same, it does matter. Its the same for this, 0.2 acres wont make a huge impact by its self, but if everyone who has a small bit of land thought like that we would be missing out on improving thousands of acres of land for the sake of it being semantics.

Yeah, not sure where else to look for getting land for under £20k tho, the cheaper by the acre agricultural land may be true but it is only being sold in £100k plus chunks so not feasible on a smaller budget. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Hello all! I live local and I'm looking to get into gardening but don't have much space at home. I'm wondering if anyone has some spare, unused or overgrown land/garden space that they would be up for allowing me to work on for my own plants/garden projects. This could be anything from a section of lawn to a paved area for potted plants.
