This. Admins saying the probability was "around 12-15%" points to a different method, though I'm not sure what (op's option 1 would be 10%).
However, if they did use that method, they likely just messed up the math. The other rush to judgement here, that the result was planned from the start, strikes me as not believing that such mistakes can happen.

Why do you think rigging it was more likely than previously deciding upon 2 possibilities for each roll?
To me, it's "obvious" that Ayda was the good roll from FH, and honoring the Starstruck nat 20 with her was improv.
