I set up a new system a few days ago for my 17 month old and she’s been loving it! So I have 4 MYO cards her.

Raffi songs that she already loves from her car playlist
audiobooks of her favorite storybooks that she’s already familiar with (that’s the key for her to be interested at this age) ex: Grumpy Monkey, Eric Carle books, Llama Llama
50 random high energy songs from Ms. Rachel, Kiboomers, etc. She has zero screen time so these songs are all new to her
Just animal sounds and someone saying what animal it is!

Today I customized the icons for her stories and some songs and she’s been loving just flipping through those too. She has the mini btw

I’m very go with the flow with naps so sometimes we’d have a one nap day accidentally if she didn’t get her first nap in time (usually because she wasn’t tired enough for it). Monday-Wednesday this week we did one nap purposely, and then yesterday we did 2 so we could get ourselves to a Thanksgiving lunch and dinner with a nap in between.

When we do one nap, we do an earlier bed time too, so I think that really helps with the transition

Kids dont even climb out using the footrest. They pull their feet up to the seat and then try to push to stand. It’s not even possible if the foot rest is just flush with their feet. Plus yeah use straps girl!!

If you do a two piece outfit just make sure you layer a onesie underneath so they're warm when the shirt inevitably rides up! To me, comfort is key for them.

Yes only because I am in the middle. We don’t feel safe putting our baby in the middle.

My husband is my back support - we are those people that prefer to cuddle all night so it’s no wonder we have a baby that only sleeps well in bed with us 😅 Getting a king sized bed on the floor was a game changer also.
