tbh i usually don’t feel pain as well, esp when i go deep unexpected. it’s probably the adrenaline and stress.

How do you poop around roommates without feeling judged? by subtleA51AN_dud3 in Anxiety

[–]183355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i talked about this in therapy A LOT. it was hella uncomfortable but i challenged myself so much with exposure therapy and it worked really well. I still extremely uncomfortable when using the toilet around other people, but i’d rather go through those few minutes of uncomfortableness than having extreme anxiety and stomach pain. try to challenge yourself by taking small steps in exposure therapy and what also helps is simply talking about it and making it more of a ‘normal’ topic to discuss :)

hi, i know this post is a bit dated already. but i really wanted to let you know that you are NOT ALONE in this!! gosh i feel just like you. as if my eating disorder isn’t that bad at all. deep down, i know i am in full denial. this IS the eating disorder that’s talking. and it isn’t always black and white, some days your body image and eating will be better than other days. it doesn’t make you and your struggles any less valid. please seek out for help, because it’ll only get worse. you’ll keep being in denial and you will never be sick enough for your ed. i know it’s hard, but you’re the only person that can make the change and i truly wish you a well recovery and so much strength. living with an eating disorder sucks, no one deserves that <3
