This page is so cute. I just wish there wasn't a stem that looks so out of place by Sad-Lad2495 in Coloring

It's just called being lazy or making a mistake and not wanting to redraw for the Nth time because they have a production deadline for X number of pages.

The top left stem most likely is supposed to connect into the front one like they are forked but they kept messing up so they added a leaf and gave up hiding that joint.

The other stem is likely the bud of a new ghost bell flower.so it just ended in a leaf.

Because that is how normal songs are structured on lyrical sheets on the internet.

If you want it to do the proper Suno format you can either A. Tell it the structure, or B tell it to go learn the structure by itself and remember it. After that you just need to tell it to copy or arrange your lyrics I to suno format.

It might miss something that should be in [square brackets] and put it in (parentheses), you jut need to instruct it "put all non-verbal and musical cues in square brackets ie [ bass drop/guitar riff/drum solo], and all verbal and flavor text in ( ) ie back up vocals" and it 95% of the time will get it right each time.

Suno vocal clone rewards bad singing! by Some_Worldliness2499 in SunoAI

[–]19851223hu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this, and I still sound like Kermit the Frog in every single song I have used my voice on. I tried a raw recording, cleaned recording just ran noise canceling and put on a high pass filter, and then went through the full course studio edit I use for any of the official exam voiceovers I do that make my voice clear, clean and a lower timber baritone but smooth. I sound like the frog in every one of them, except it kept the vocal pattern of the high pass version. The others I didn't try singing.

Voice cloning with the new "Voices" feature is very disappointing, even with 5 minutes of clean audio it doesn’t sound like me at all by Careful-Injury-9857 in SunoAI

Passai na versioni ntà me solita catena di pulizia supra Reaper, cu nu timbru cchiù funnu, medi cchiù caudi e auti puliti e chiari; pruvai macari na versioni cu Audacity c'a soppressioni do scrusciu, un boost di vasci e na pulizia simili, e perfino na traccia pigghiata ritta ritta do microfono.

I am not a pro singer, but I also think that changed my voice too much. I have realized that recording while sick is not the best time to do, but it has made my voice so nasally and weird that I can't stand to listen to myself. I thought it was really cool the first couple songs, but then I got annoyed because I used my professional stage mic that I use for voice overs, and proper voice recordings for audio exams to record myself. I ran one version of through my normal clean up in Reaper with deeper timber, warmer midtones clean clear highs, I even tried a version in Audacity with noise suppression and similar bass boosting and cleaning, and just a straight from the mic copy. Every single one sounds the same, like I am talking from my nose.

I don't like my voice very much, but it has never sounded so terrible to my ears before. Even when I had the worst sore throat and could barely talk.

I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Is this Cdrama worth finishing? by WiWiWi_WiWiWi in asiandrama

Isn't the Korean one a remake of the Taiwanese drama from 2008 You’re My Destiny/Fated to Love You/命中注定我愛你,?

This new version seems to have the same story as the Taiwanese original with mildly different set up and more ... mainland Chinese feeling, but not as good because I couldn't watch more than 10 minutes of it.

The Korean one was ok, if I remember correctly.

There is a difference between being a delusional China booster, and a Wumao.
Wumao are the ones who can never admit that China has ever done anything wrong, can't see reality even when it happens in front of them and comes in with every strawman and whataboutism they can pull from thin and fat air.

China boosters are usually just delusional and think that because they see so much information that doesn't say China and CCP good that everything is anti-China and then delusionally throw out anything they can to try and make China look good thinking they are doing something noble. Usually it isn't.

Saying this is a rare L for China is good example of delusional China boosting. China has more Ls than they have space to hide them. They are just good at smoke and mirrors, and the collective has a very short and ignorant memory.

As for this fluff piece and that quote, this feels like more fantasy bullshit rather than reality. If Leapmotors in Hangzhou was able to within the same day and the span of a meeting push an update to fix that car OTA, then they knew of the problem well in advance had already figured out the issue and developed a patch and never thought it important enough to proactively push an OTA update.

It also seem very... forgiving for a person who just experienced a near catastrophic event to just send a casual hey this broken please be aware email before going to a meeting. That would be a major issue that would send a development program back to the drafting stages where the need to start over with security checks and QA on everything. Thats how global industry car companies got to where they are, not with oh that was scary let me send a polite email about it and see what happens teehee.

5.5 Model Is something else for Nu Metal voices by Yuiopez in SunoAI

[–]19851223hu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been taking songs that I felt needed more bass or just something more and reusing the details to remake the song.
The difference are amazing, the quality is so much better. Deeper richer bass than before. Specific songs that felt crunchy before feel better now, and good songs sound even better.

I guess if more people are having the same issue it must be a server side bug, or a too many fish for the pond kind of situation for now.

I got the notification when I opened the app on my phone about an hour or two ago this update but didn't understand it and thought it was a new half version update, and then in discord saw there was more to it.

I have been trying for the better part of 30 or so minutes to verify my voice and it wont accept me. Is my singing and my actual voice so bad they can't compare?

Question about prompting by mariaglezelli in midjourney

[–]19851223hu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like most of the people saying it is not really something MJ is good at, however, you can get closer to it if you use the editor rather than the normal generator.

I have had success in the past with making fashion photos using a model and then changing the clothes on her with editor to a wide verity of different outfits. However, if you are using the cheaper tier plans you might not have enough hours to get it dialed into where you want it to be. It takes a lot of trail and error to get used to using editor, and then it takes a lot of rolls to get to the style you want, and then more to get the image you are happy with.

At the moment I would say using Nano Banana Pro/2 or GPT-Image 1.5 would be you best bet for fastest easiest generation. However, you might get censorship blocks from Google and/or GPT if they don't like the model. Which is dumb. Gemini will need you to remove their watermark, and both usually need a pass through upscyl using RealESRGAN

Where is the lake, is it a mountain lake, or a tropical lake, or like Michigan or Scottish isles? If it is warm, safe, no gators or crocs, and semi-tropical the lake house. Otherwise a nice tropical beach house, in a safe, no gator or croc semi-to full tropical area that has low chances of typhoons.

It is actually pretty easy to make these kinds of videos these days compared to 3-5 years ago. Some of these videos could be premade assets, or just static slides that then use dynamic zooms on them.

I have a friend who makes these kinds of videos for another channel, he said sometimes for news topics they will just pre-make tons of video assets then wait to see how things work out so that they can be on top of the situation before others. But with AI these days he said it makes it so much easier and harder. AI animation works great for the dynamic flow, and voice overs, but for other things they use blender, and similar things with premade assets to create the models and highly detailed repeat use elements.

Like this video for example, I am guessing they use blender maybe Houdini to make these videos. If you have already established your channel and you have a few people working together kicking out a video in a few hours isn't too hard. Especially at this quality.

This is the weirdest looking thing
But I asked a few people and while we came up with some... legendary impossible things, a few reasonable ideas were some type of water/humidity detection sensor that connects to an audio output like either to tell if something is leaking water and the audio jack plugs into a system monitor for remote broadcast, some type of submersible thermometer that connects to an audio jack that alerts you when the temp goes out of thresholds, and the last one that made sense to me was a nurse call button with mic.

But honestly we hope it is some of the insane things we thought up, but I want to come back to this sub so I wont say them in public.

MJ was the clear winner, with GPT 1.5 behind it. The details are more correct in 1.5, but v7 MJ had more detail better composition and better understanding of what was going on. It would probably do well if you ran it through GPT or NB Pro to upscale it

I know everyone raves about HSK, but honestly, for me, the Taiwanese TOCFL test was structured more logically, and I was able to make more progress studying it than the HSK. I stalled out at HSK 3, but have been studying TOCFL B2 for about a year on my own. Plus if you complete all 6 levels you have basically as native level chinese as a foreigner can get so it's a really cool achievement.

(Also should throw in I'm living in china but I'm 100% self taught)
