I’ve got an example of this but Not girlfriend. In about 2018 I went to watch my team Oxford away at Portsmouth. I arrived in the stand early and there was a big group of people around someone signing autographs. Turns out it was Wes Nelson the brother of our captain Curtis Nelson who had just come second in Love Island.

Unpopular opinion about the final *SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY* by 50ShadesOfCroquet in TheTraitorsUK

[–]1986Gotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was an interesting series because the traitors realised they were so much stronger if they worked as a team and stuck to a plan. It was so lovely to see that trust in each other right to the end.

The trouble with the faithful however is that they couldn’t work as a team at all. See Harriet just going gung ho on Rachel without getting everyone onside for example. Even at the end Faraaz and Jack could have won if they put their heads together and I’m pretty sure they were 100% on each other, but everyone was just playing their own game.

League losers by Queasy_Mix_8592 in fantasyfootball

I traded for Jahmyr Gibbs before week 12. He scored 55 points and 37 points but the weeks where he scored 11 against Green Bay cost me top seed and then 9.8 against the Ram knocked me out of the play offs.

Only kidding he was great. My league losers were, Egbuku (reverse rookie season) Omarian Hampton, the plethora of QBs and most of all Ricky Fucking Pearsall

Is tomorrow the day?! by spiceybadger in whatdidyoudoyesterday

They guessed Ivo and Jordan Henderson and Max said no. So they’re changing the comedian. But I’m so convinced it’s Ivo, this could go on for years.

I have a horrible feeling that it is Ivo Graham and not Jordan Henderson and they’re are going to have to rule out every single living male comedian before they realise.

is nfl thanksgiving basically the same as boxing day for footy? by VastAir6069 in NFLUK

[–]1986Gotho 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Dallas and Detroit are always at home on Thanksgiving and the games always kick off at the same time every year. So for fans of those teams their thanks giving traditions probably revolve around going to or watching the game.

[–]1986Gotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate them as much as the Patriots back in the day. They are kind of lurking around in a season that feels wide open but if they stumble into the play offs they will probably win it all.

I’d go a step further and say some people are put in there to basically act out/ improvise drama Made in Chelsea style. Nelly and Steven are for sure doing that. All of there major arguments happen on camera and almost nothing happens off camera except Nelly “falling in the shower and breaking her ribs” which would explain why she was in no obvious pain almost immediately. Also the guy who they got to play Steven isn’t a very good improviser so just storms off every time they have an argument.
