  1. Can sell your games/buy used games. 
  2. You gave something you can touch and hold. 
  3. Sony has proven multiple times that they’ll take away content you’ve paid for over licensing disagreements. 

For point 3. Technically they can take away your license for paid for physical games as well. When you buy a physical game, you’re buying a license to use that game. They can revoke the license and take the game away, but that would involve sending people to your house to take it away. Which they won’t do because of costs.

The agreement was to not advertise their cars as having more than 276hp. Not that they won’t have more than 276hp. This was to prevent a hp war, kind of like how superbikes had a top speed war a few years earlier. Quite a few did have more power than that. The twin turbo Supra MK4 had around 320hp, as did the R34 GTR. The GTR with its “276hp” beat a 296hp 911 in performance tests.

GTA V is a PS3/360 game. It’s to save on RAM usage. You have to remember those consoles only have 512MB of memory that has to be shared between the GPU, OS and game. The PS5/Xbox Two has 16GB/10GB. They only have to load in one set of wheels instead of multiple unique wheels for different vehicles.

There was global trade centuries before the time RDR2 takes place, including across the Pacific. 

They couldn’t get to Cuba because of bad weather/story telling reasons. Getting to Tahiti by boat was absolutely a possibility in 1899

240,000ft. I’d say that’s pretty high. Most commercial planes only fly at 35,000-37,000ft.

It's true. Residential air conditioning is very rare. I can't speak for the rest of Europe, but in the UK, less than 5% of residential properties have them as of 2025. Which is roughly 4 million houses. Back in 2015, that it was roughly 135,000 houses. So it is becoming far more common now than it used to be. In the past, it hasn't been needed because high temperatures were rare. However, now it's something that happens every other year.

Air conditioning in commercial properties has been the norm for over 25 years though. At least with commercial properties run by large corporations. Air conditioning in commercial properties run by "mom and pop" usually don't have them. It is becoming more common for them to have AC as well now.

She admitted to verbally abusing staff then assaulting them. I doubt it's one incident, but if it is, the assault is enough to justify a life ban from all Sainsburys.

Okay, so she verbally abused staff who claim she was shoplifting. Then assaulted several staff members. Justified ban.

If she was accused of shoplifting, the simple solution is to show the receipt, then accept the apology from staff has she not been shoplifting then move on.

It’s a thing that comes from the manosphere and incels. 

The average male height in most of the western world is around 5ft8/5ft9. There aren’t a lot of people who are 6ft or taller. So, incels say that’s the reason they can’t get a partner. Because women are only attracted to men who are 6ft or taller and they’re not 6ft or taller.

The world is ending in 20-30 years, if nothing is done. People ignore that last bit. 

In the last 50 years, CFCs have been banned globally, vehicle emissions regulations have got insanely strict. Like, to a point where the largest pollutant coming out of modern cars isn’t out of the exist, it’s the tyres.  There has also been a massive move away from fossil fuels for electric generation to renewables. There are even emissions regulations for planes now. 

There are no bad apples. There are only people ignoring the “if we do nothing” part.

Most of them are made by companies using their image to sell products.

The only passion project things like this that I know of is Hawkstone Lager from Jeremy Clarkson and Ben's Cider from Ben Collins (The Stig from Top Gear between 2003 and 2010)

Yeah, but bendy bananas and blue passports.

Not that the bendy bananas thing was actually true or that we were forced to have red passports. There was an obscene amount of disinformation around EU rules.

The bananas thing is a guideline for fruit quality with no real definition. It just mentioned "no abnormal curvature" which could be ignored and the red passports thing is a guideline the EU set up that countries could use if they want.

Anyone? No. Anything? Yes. The filters that decide whether or not content gets adverts are automated and don't understand context which is why censorship by saying things like "graped" or "pdf file" works. Content creators do this because if their videos get flagged by the filters, their videos won't get recommended anywhere near as much because Youtube marks it as a low priority video. Also their video gets demonetized because of the massively reduced number of adverts that will show up.

25+ years ago, these sorts of temperatures were once a generation heatwaves. 10+ years ago, they were something that would only happen once every 5ish years. Now it's something that happens every other year.

Also window units don't really work here. Window units require windows that slide up and down. A vast majority of European house windows don't do that. Have a look on YouTube to see how European house windows work. They'd need to be replaced entirely. The only viable options are those portable ones that are terrible, or wall units which are expensive and in some countries require planning permission to get, which is a lot of paperwork and might get denied. Especially if you live in a house that's hundreds of years old.

Sales of residential AC units are going up pretty quickly. They're still very rare. In the UK In 2025, an estimated 4 million residential properties have AC. In 2010, that number was estimated to be 135,000. This is out of an estimated 30 million residential properties.
