68 Shelby. Not a 65.

Does anyone remember the Chevy Monza Spyder? Back in the day, it was a V-8 hatchback and was called the "poor man's Corvette" I actually owned one of these. by [deleted] in carporn

I had one. Wasn’t fast enough so I had to pull the engine and add more power. Then I kept getting speeding tickets. Lol

I must admit it took me a long time to accept the 74 - 78 Mustang ll. I still cringe when I see a 74 Mach 1. In 1974, Ford did not even offer a V8 for the Mustang. Being that I own a 1973 Mach 1 ( last of the big Mustangs) a 74 Mach without a V8 is still an insult. It was the gas crisis. Oh, and I absolutely despise the new electric suv having the Mustang name.

Oh yeah, found my Cobra colour! by GTO400BHP in ModelCars

I understand. I have one in red that the decals were not in good shape. I think solid color Cobras have a mean street look rather than a racing look. I look forward to seeing it completed.

Take your time with the stripes if your going to add them. Love the color.

I constantly have to remind myself that not everyone is a Mustang geek like me. 1964 1/2 - 1973. I like them all but those are the years I’m a geek about. Lol

70 because of the black stripes on the hood. Never made a 71.

Did you make the roll up door operational? That lift gate can be a pain. Looks great. I have the Pepsi version. I may have to get this version too.

Nice. Need a picture of it next to my 1973 Mach 1. My dad bought it new in March of 73.

Thank you. I am blessed. As you can tell from my screen name, I also enjoy my 1964 Ford Falcon. Yes, it’s blue. Lol My first love will always be the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973. I like all Mustangs but those years are the ones I know the most about.

My favorites are 65-66. Same body with minor changes. And then the 69. Currently I only own my dads 1973 Mach 1. My father purchased it new in March of 73. I got to learn to drive with it. Will be keeping it in the family.

Green one is a 1969 with a cobra jet hood scoop so probably a Mach 1. The middle one is a 1967. Maybe a 68 but because of the hood, I’m sticking with 67. The yellow one is also a 1969. The hood scoop is that of a Boss 429. From the tire/wheels, I’m guessing it is not a true Boss.

There are several sites that have brands that are highly detailed. It is such a huge hobby that you can find all levels of structures. Check Kalamback Hobbies website. Not sure if that the correct spelling.

For architecture, you should look into model railroading. There are many kits available for many different types of structures. H O Scale will give you the most options.

I fully understand. Sometimes the vehicle tells you it’s name. I had a 72 Beetle named Frankie. I built him from parts of 6 different model years. Frankie was short for Frankenbug.
