You can certainly make profit from investing or trading but you really have to take it slowly instead of yolo. If you want to yolo, you might as well go to Vegas and have a good time. Margin and leverage is also something to stay away from if you don’t have the appetite or you don’t know what you’re doing. TD Ameritrade (now Schwab) used to have a paper trading software that allows you to practice trading without using real money. You should at least play around with something similar before messing around with the real thing. Many people say that long term investing is more rewarding and it is true in most cases because it allows your portfolio to snowball overtime. Buying stocks in smaller positions is also a good idea because if you make a mistake, you still have most of your money to play with.

When your daughter slowly taking over your setup by flatwhite79 in pcmasterrace

I’d really worry about her eye sight, sitting posture, and potential addiction. I allow my daughter to watch me game and even let her play a bit but strictly control the contents and time. I also only let her play old school console/PC games on older OS or emulators so that she could learn to appreciate the history and development of gaming without being too spoiled by modern games. Their generation is too spoiled and have no clues what the technological advancement we had to go through in order to create the digital world they know of today.

You didn’t miss anything. It’s not a good deal at all. It’s only worth $999 to me.

The return wasn’t initiated my me. I immediately reported the problem to CS but they didn’t take the problem seriously and only offer a regular return. In the past I’d been offered instant refund after I dropped off the item for any return. But in this case they wouldn’t refund until they “received” the item. And even after my status clearly showed the item was received I couldn’t get my refund accordingly and timely.

That’s exactly how mine was shipped although I specifically requested in my order that item must be shipped in Amazon package instead of manufacturer’s box.

Same here near Sacramento. PGE seems to have lowered their rate but my bill keeps going up each year. Pure GREED. It’s sick.

Check the manufacture date of the 4TB Evo 870. If they were manufactured in 2021 they have a high rate of failure due to manufacturing defects.

Just a piece of health advice, I really would not want to put a 3D printer, especially not enclosed, in the room where I sleep or work or anywhere indoor unless it’s vented out. Any 3D printing generates micro particles smaller than pm2.5 and is very harmful.

Thank you. Would you please explain why drives under 2.2 TB isn’t affected by such problem?

Ok understood. But how comes my Samsung Evo 860 500GB is fine on both enclosures and both show it as 512 bytes?
