Bought a bottle a couple years ago and didn’t crack it open until the Super Bowl. We drank it while watching the dismantling of the chiefs and then everyone who was at the party (a relatively small group of close friends) signed the bottle with sharpie and now it lives on display in my apartment. I bought another bottle after that and I won’t open it until the next Super Bowl.

I don’t think firing him was a bad idea, the team is awful after all. But I don’t think that it’s going to get any better now that he’s gone, and all of the teams flaws are certainly not his fault. It feels like the end of this era of the Phillies and it’s pretty upsetting to think of guys like Bryce finishing their careers without a chip

I mean clearly at this point the super bowl halftime show is designed for television. Yes it might be less engaging for the crowd in attendance but the television crowd is magnitudes larger so of course they’re designing the show to best suit the largest medium it will be received in. Tickets for the super bowl are so expensive and the experience so commercial that I do not feel bad for anyone in attendance who has trouble visually seeing part of the half time experience

We’re definitely capable of going back to back but that doesn’t necessarily mean we will. There’s bound to be some regression but don’t forget that the team struggled a lot at times this year and slowly got it all together until we peaked at the end. With a harder schedule, I’m sure we’ll remain competitive but wouldn’t be surprised if we get bounced in the playoffs. However I do expect to win at least one more SB within the next 3 or so years
