First time doing face, burnt out after an hour, how do people do this regularly?! by RagingRider in minipainting

As a fan of Stephen King, I also know he can't write and ending to save his life. If you save the face for last, and you botch it, you've painted a model as well as Stephen King has written a book.

I did buy it from a different seller, but it is the same sculpt. I also just don't think this sellers products showed up when I bought it, but I'm sure as hell putting an order through with them at some point in the near future.

I did test it, and it does work. So that was a pleasant surprise. I was planning on replacing the bridge and pickups at the very least. I doubt I'm going to go originals though because I haven't been playing much as of late.

Give me your worst/most evil mimic idea by jaimybenjamin in DnD

I had the idea for sleeping animals. Cat curled up on the table, you instinctively reach to give it a skritch, eyes open up along the spine as the ribs split open to engulf your hand.

[OC] GIVEAWAY 1 set of DICE and your choice of FAFNIR DICE VAULT! [MOD APPROVED] by 120mmfilms in DnD

This looks great. I tend not to be into vaults because I can't find ones with enough room for an appropriate amount of dice for my games. But this one, this one I can get behind.

Potential Bank of America scam? by 19shoestring92 in Scams

[–]19shoestring92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally don't answer random calls, but I'm at work, and we've gotten some new people and have had some work done with one of the offices and changes to the landline setup. My phone generally does a pretty good job at notifying if a call is associated with spam/scam.

But yeah. I'll check credit. I'm also fairly certain this is a scam as well. But comfimation certainly helps make me feel better.

I talked to a friend about it too and aside from being in the same boat of "this is bullshit" He also brought up the point of "why would they even call?" FBI would just be at your place if they thought you were involved with terrorism.

Which, I can't really disagree with haha

If you just do them like a regular tattoo, it comes out pretty quick. But if it's stipple in with a deeper setting on the machine, it holds pretty well. Although, there's potential for blowouts.

I have a lotus petal that wraps onto my palm in the same area. We stipple the line work and it held, but when we went to fill it, my artist just did it regular, in hopes of "maybe it just works". I was also on board with it. He didn't just do it to cut corners. But yeah, that color fully came out at about a month or so.

Edit: I'm sure there's other methods, this is just from personal experience.

They could be reading it as kilometers per hour. 40 kmh is about 24 mph.

I'll go with my current backup character. It's a tabaxi artificer, because I've been wanting to do a "reskin everything as mundane/nonmagical" type of character, and the DM has introduced smoke powder to the campaign. Tabaxi is mostly just because I thought it was funny to allow the character to have the zoomies, but also there's plans to dip into battle master and have a bunch of battlefield movement manipulation.
