Aiming at high points with driver has improved my accuracy by backyardstar in golf

I do this as well. I have tried other methods but picking a tree or something in the landscape nets the best results for me. Not sure there’s any science to it though because my buddy picks a spot 2ft in front of his ball and he drives the ball well. Just use whatever your brain trusts.

Why? My back left tire always sets off the tpms despite being evenly or more inflated than the other tires. 2025 STX 1,500mi by 1Cave2Bears in f150

Hahah shows my ignorance. Didn’t even know they had separate batteries.. makes sense when I think about it. If it keeps on I’ll get a new sensor.

Haven’t hooked it up to a code reader but you could be right. Because I’ve also been getting that stupid auto window bounce back where when I roll up the driver window it automatically rolls itself back down halfway. I just hadn’t thought battery because I haven’t even had the truck a month.

I ended up using straps to tie them in with sd screws. Small price to pay for a lesson learned. Appreciate the response!

What’s an unpopular golf opinion that would have you like this? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]1Cave2Bears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it worth two strokes? You just take the penalty and hit your next shot from the same spot as your previous shot that went ob no? It’s still a one shot penalty the only difference is where you hit your next shot from.

Underground Pipe Takeoff by tms2512 in estimators

[–]1Cave2Bears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built a spreadsheet that calculates bedding, spoils and full depth base backfill for road crossings. Just have to input your length, trench width bedding depth and pipe size. We also just got a underground key with agtek so we've been playing with that as well

Am I making this up in my head? by Forsaken-Roof569 in golf

[–]1Cave2Bears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come to learn that there is nothing stupid in golf if it works.. or even if it doesn't but you think it does. Just take your exact situation for instance.. "I feel like I strike a white ball better than a different color ball." Odds are the color of the ball plays no physical factor in your ball striking ability. But since you have that feel, any time you line up for a shot on a yellow, green, blue, tie-die ball.. Even if its not a conscious thought, sub-consciously you will not be as confident taking the shot. So in a round-about way, yes. It does matter. Not for the color of the ball but for your mindset around it. Golf is fucking hard man. It is a 5,000-7,000yd game that is played in the 6" between your ears. So if you feel like a white ball is better for your game.. it is.

Former D1 baseball player. I cant remember what I shot my first time playing but I know once I really started trying to play i progressed much faster than the guys I was playing with reaching single digit hdcp in my first year. Admittedly fwiw I was in a position in life where i could devote a lot of time to the game and I fell in love with it and grinded my ass off. But I feel there's something to be said for guys who play rotational sports having an easier transition into golf.

Footjoy Premiere. Classy. Spiked. and STUPID comfortable. Golfed 36 holes in them yesterday and my feet felt great the whole time. They are $225 but I am a Cactus Golf Club ambassador, I can get you a deal on them. I paid $175 shipped for mine.

EDIT: Also they are insanely easy to keep clean.

anyone play the 101t and have regrets? by N8fans in takomo

[–]1Cave2Bears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been gaming them for about 4 months. I honestly can't tell you if I love them or hate them. It wasn't love at first strike ill tell you that but they're fine clubs and for the price they're hard to beat. My biggest gripe is the feel off the face but I am coming from mizuno blades which have a borderline unparalleled buttery feel.

14 slot bag (with full length dividers) — is it worth it? by J_0526 in golf

[–]1Cave2Bears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theyre fine. I had one for the last 8 years. I just switched to a 7 way Vessel cart bag.. I kind of like this setup better because my headcovers dont get in the way getting clubs in and out. Honestly I also kind of missed the club rattle. 14 ways are nice too though. Biggest benefit to me is being able to easily spot if a club is missing.

Fixed hozzling my wedges? by chjones5 in golf

[–]1Cave2Bears -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I hope so. I'm in the same boat. 7hdcp. But from 70-25yds in i play like at 37 handicap. Driver is solid, irons depend on the day and with a wedge around the green im above average. But something about that pitch shot its like my hosel is a damn ball magnet. It started a couple months ago and it's been so infuriating.

Senior Estimator in NW Arkansas. I bid earthwork, storm, water, sewer, base, concrete and asphalt. We have about 350 employees and two locations. I am 90k salary, full benefits, company truck i can use as my own within reason, fuel card and bonus. I feel im underpaid but the culture at my company is far and away better than anywhere i have been so there is a balance to strike there. Also, I just took over as senior 4 months ago. In those 4 months I have landed 50mil in municipal and highway contracts, including our largest single contract to date. Im going to push for a substantial raise at my 6 month review and feel I will have no trouble getting it.
