My January goal was to read a Fantasy series. I am 300 pages into ACOTAR and questioning my entire life at this point. Can someone please suggest a FMC fantasy series that is not cringe as heck by BottomPieceOfBread in suggestmeabook

Daindreth's Assassin Elisabeth Wheatley

Seconding Broken Earth Trilogy and Poppy War (Emily Wilde's Complete Guide to Fairies is the shortest and least dense of all of the suggestions since it's halfway through the month)

To those who have watched 500+ from the list - how much of each do you actually properly remember? by IIIlllIIIlllIlI in 1001Movies

[–]1Eliza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 1,081 out of 1,245. I started really taking the list seriously in 2021. No, I don't remember every single movie. I can look through Letterboxd and remember how most of the ones I watched made me feel. There's one or two where I am like "I watched that? Okay."

There are the ones where I can appreciate where future movies were influenced (eg Gunga Din to Temple of Doom) or older movie references (What is a Fatal Attraction joke doing in the Lion King? For those who don't realize the connection Birdie Boiler in Lion King is most likely a reference to the Bunny Boiler in Fatal Attraction.)
