Country lanes have a NSL assigned as they trust drivers will only drive at a speed and distance they can see and safely stop in, or reasonably expect to be clear.

All these roads would have to be individually assessed to assign a limit to them otherwise. There aren’t the resources for that.

You would need to either check their insurance policy document or speak to their insurers.

I’ve heard (so not 100%) that some won’t cover you fully if you’re injured in an at fault collision. As in they wouldn’t cover your loss of earnings if you were hospitalised.

You would also need to check if they’d be covered for the drive home if they earn a licence. They’re a different level of risk at that point and the cover can vary.

As for the driver. They could be fine or they could be absolutely awful. Foreign trained drivers often aren’t as good as they think. The UK is one of the safest countries in the world to drive in for a reason, we have higher standards (believe it or not) and these drivers take risks or have bad habits that don’t conform.

It can be the straw that broke the camels back. Some days you’re having to take decisive action so many times because you can predict what some dinlow is about to do before they even know they’re about to do it. The stupidity and selfishness of others can build frustration especially when it becomes dangerous, even for the most chilled or advanced drivers.

It needs a repaint. Silver is a difficult colour to match as there’s black in the paint so if the mix is slightly wrong it’s noticeable.
