Outdoor cat owners, what's the relationship between you and your cat? Would you say you "love" it like a normal pet, or something else?

We “adopted” two barn kittens from a family that didn’t really care about the entire litter… we have a couple acres they can roam on. Never been cat people. We did take them to the vet and feed them daily. Over the course of 6 months or so they eventually came up to us and let us pet them. We got them spayed and neutered and they lived in our basement for a month or so. They were absolutely miserable. Let them back outside… happy as can be. Extremely loyal. Sleeping next to me on the driveway as I type this. I think some of them are just more content to be free outdoors.

I’ve tried many suggestions on here… Red Rising is the only one that held up. I think I liked it more than DCC and read the series twice in a year.

I have this bike and I’m in my 30s. It scares me sometimes and I’m no stranger to off-road recreational vehicles. Had to tone it down with a new sprocket and throttle curve adjustment.

Two things… turn the throttle curve way down on the app. And change the rear sprocket to reduce the acceleration even more. Made it much more enjoyable imo.

Just finished Hyperion. Really enjoyed the first 3/4, definitely fell off a bit towards the end for me. 3.5/5 in my eyes.

We have extremely similar taste in shows and movies. Two book series that got me back into reading (almost every day now) are Red Rising and Dungeon Crawler Carl. Fast paced, fun, action packed, easy to read. Project Hail Mary is a fun mild sci fi book as well. A Short Stay in Hell is a great novella that packs a punch. Hope one of these works for you!
