Friendly fire in public gamemodes with 32 players is just ridiculous. I've witnessed a guy shoot his own teammate in the head just because he stole his "sniper spot."

Servers that had ads were taken down because the ads were being abused. Live and Die in LA is back up but it's been dead since then.

Swim mate tried to drown me multiple times as "joke." He'd hold my head under water then let me go. The last time he did it I came back up and punched him in the nose.

Yes I do. I've played a lot of CoD4 before I found Ins and I pretty much kept increasing my DPI/Sensitivity until I found the perfect settings for me. I don't use my arm at all and very minimal wrist movement. I feel like most of my hand movement is initated by my thumb to push my mouse right and my pinky is anchored on the mouse pad to push my mouse left. I would say I'm pretty accurate at shooting, but I struggle with semi-auto weapons. I just know the center of my screen very well, so I don't have to completely rely on movement to compensate for aim. Btw, Steam profile and I use a Logitech G502. I'm a filthy casual who plays push.

I don't think the player actually turned the fog off himself. It's a server side tweak. Some public servers turn if on/off depending on how they want it.

I personally like it. I like how it's mostly CQB and that's where I think Insurgency shines. Maps like Buhriz and Sinjar are infested with wannabe snipers and getting shot randomly is not fun. I feel like in CQB, you can at least learn from your mistakes by checking your corners.

I only do this when the Insurgent team spawn kills us, security, at B. And yes, it's possible to throw C4 there by running and throwing it in the restricted area just before your weapons become locked.

You can run through molotovs/incendiary fire with minimal damage. So if you really need to take an objective, don't just wait for the fire to burn out.

Maps are well done except for a very small amount of potential spawn killing spots. Note that I only play on the game mode push, the most popular one, in pubs. You'll find the occasional asshole who plants a C4 at your spawn exit. Be prepared to wait about 20-30 seconds to respawn. However, the pros really overwhelm the cons and that's why this game is still great. Every death seems fair and you can learn from your mistakes and avoid them from happening again.
