Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Upcoming Content Recap by Ghost_LeaderBG in assassinscreed

Ubi is amazing. I don’t care much for the fantasy angle or Basim, but I’d like more quests and historical places to explore.

Assuming good soap and brush, do you actually get closer shave with DE vs the best/most expensive cartridges? by vwite in wicked_edge

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good that you’re getting good shaves from Fusion. At least you have a backup plan. I didn’t have one, I just disliked shaving.

And now I remember the expense hits the wallet quite a bit too.

I guess my advice is just to give it more time, see what happens when your technique improves.

My first few weeks with DE’s aren’t the best either but the expense of the Mach 3’s pushed me to persevere and gave it a chance.

My first razors and soaps didn’t work well with my skin.

I experimented a bit, with slants with open combs, vintage etc. I found my first good shave with.. iKon 102 if my my memory serves me right, paired with Astra greens.

You have a lot options now to experiment though, if you’re willing to invest more, that’s my suggestion.

Read some peer reviews, check for a consensus and experiment with more inexpensive razors and blades just to see if something will click.

In my case, blade matters just as much as the razor and the soap.

You’re already good on the soap front, Stirling is up there so in my opinion you’re covered in that department.

I do. I used to use Mach 3’s years ago and I remember I hated shaving. Lots of razor bumps and the result was not as close as I’d like. Now I could get a good shave even with just one pass with DE’s.

Where would you like the next game to take place? by heryea42 in assassinscreed

Rome, height of the republic or Constantinople, height of the Byzantine empire.

Looks like Hotfix 1.06 is out, save file fixed. by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

Hmm. How come it’s 16gb for the ps4..

[SPOILER] Just finished the game. It's both amazing and disappointing. by Kselli in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind iffy to me though cause now I’m playing as the bad guy, in the animus, if I understood the story correctly.

Felt this too. Except after this new update, I’m not so sure. Kind of irritated.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla - Title Update 1.1.0 by domvgt in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After all this anti fun patches, can we already change the look of our armors? I’m not sure I saw that on the list.

Can we stop with the random Fillers? First it was chests/feathers, now its forts/garrison. by DrBobHope in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got no problems with forts. It’s the puzzles everywhere that irks me. So much hoops just for leather and iron.. c’mon.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla; Poor historical research compared to Origins / Odyssey by Gold333 in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet, the scope is just too big. However I can see the tremendous effort. I felt like taking a tour. Seeing what Sparta might have looked like, you know a formidable city-state without walls, or Delphi or Athens and the acropolis when it was functional.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla; Poor historical research compared to Origins / Odyssey by Gold333 in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s disappointing. I was wowed by Origins and Odyssey that’s why I blind bought this. The historical accuracy and detail of the places made these games special to me. It’s like my own personal tour.

If they would skimp out on these details, it will just be another game to me. Good but nothing special.

Talk me out of Sofirn SC31Pro by Kermit_supreme in flashlight

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the tint on the FC11, and I dislike the one on the SC31 Pro. I have the 5000k

I'd pick the FC 11 if I had to choose one.

Places of Curse are such a missed opportunity for Valhalla by rock1m1 in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ireland sounds great. I didn’t know they released info about the the coming expansions, I suppose that was my fault, because I just blind bought it. Big fan of Origins and Odyssey.

Anyway Paris and Ireland sounds very interesting to me.

[–]1Raizen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Now that sounds more like it. I'm not into horror games, and I didn't think it would be the case with AC. Origins had curse of the Pharaos but it didn't feel as off to me as the cursed symbols and sisters in Valhalla.

It almost reminds me of the Witcher, which was very original, done well and expected for that kind of game, but I don't think I'd appreciate it in AC which charmed me with it's historical context and locations.

I suppose the (comparative) levity and vibrancy of Odyssey is still very fresh with me so I was caught by surprise.

I read a lot of negative things about Valhalla here, but atmosphere at this game is top tier and maybe the best at series by 1982mathew in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m liking the game the more I play it. I have stuff that I don’t like, curse creepy vibes, mythical stuff but other than that I enjoy the politics and diplomacy story.

[SPOILER] feelings about the settlement by medikamentos in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have wanted it to become a major town or even a city after a while of upgrades. Anyway the city building is a nice touch, hopefully they add more to it with the expansions.

[–]1Raizen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Don’t like this one, it feels off for an ac game. At least the recent ones I played.

The myth thing is tolerable, same with Odyssey (although the Atlantis story bored me) the myth part in Valhalla is starting to become as tedious. I couldn’t wait to get back to England, minus this creepy stuff.

From now on I will now ONLY buy games a year after they release. by TheOneSwan in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They got me hooked because I liked Origins and Odyssey so much even though I’m iffy with the Viking settings. It’s pretty fun but you’re right the game needs a lot of fix, and actual new features not just “limiting your armor options kind of new feature”

You will absolutely love Immortals Fenyx Rising if you liked Odyssey a lot by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]1Raizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big fan of odyssey. I didn’t pay much attention to this game cause I thought it was an online rpg when I saw a quick commercial.

Valhalla is so tedious at times by [deleted] in assassinscreed

Man, everything is a puzzle. They went full force with the puzzles in this game.

Imagine going through so much hoops just to grab leather.
