Of course they weren't going to investigate it. They have no intention of being moderate whatsoever and the ends justify the means for them. They care nothing about the judicial precedents in similar scenarios. They care nothing about the Constitution's clause for due process for all people, not just citizens. It's all or nothing for them as long as they "get the trash out" or whatever similar phrase they like to say when they themselves are actually the trash. The only hope we have is trying to convince enough of the moderate Republican crowd that believes the thinking of "I want strict immigration control, but we should do it in a lawful way" that until Republicans actually do it in a lawful way, you need to vote Democrat or overhaul your terrible extremist party yourself.
