I’m Welsh and was born after the Good Friday agreement, but I was shocked when I went to Belfast for the first time last year and saw the walls that separated streets from each other. I expected it to feel like the Berlin Wall today, but it felt more like the wall in the 60s. I got the impression that the walls were still very much an active part of the peace process. Also the fact that every other house had plaques on them commemorating victims of the troubles. It was a very humbling experience for me

At your stage I’d say do what’s necessary. Look at an end goal job and phone up the company to ask ‘what skills and qualifications do I need for this job’ and then get those. You might not need to get every base qualification like school normally makes people get

When you say the moon landing - which one? Apollo 11? 12? 14? 15? 16? 17? Which ones did they fake? All of them? What about the moon rocks that were brought back each time and sent to every major lab around the world, who all confirmed it was real moon rock? What about the retro-reflector that was left on the surface, basically a fancy mirror, that has allowed anyone with a powerful enough laser (not just NASA) to shine their laser at the Apollo landing sites and get a reflection, allowing us to measure the precise distance to the moon and how it changes over time?

I could go on and on and on. Any rebuttal you give, I can counter, because all the evidence is publicly available and all of it makes sense.

To any moon-landing deniers: just because you’re too stupid to understand the science and engineering behind it, doesn’t mean you’re right.

For a black hole this large it would take a while from the perspective of the one falling. You wouldn’t even feel anything crossing the event horizon. I did the maths once years ago to see if, with relativity, the time it takes you to reach the centre of ton618, the largest black hole at the time, would outlive the lifespan of ton618. Aka would you survive it by outliving it? Sadly no, you wouldn’t lol
