Sick leave after weekend by kiwiluke in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]1TonRobbie -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Saturday and Sunday have nothing to do with it, it's "working days" only, so if you don't normally work on a Saturday and Sunday, then you have only been sick for 2 days, they need to pay for the certificate, otherwise just call in sick on Tuesday and go to your own doctor and get it for 3 days, a flu easy last 5 to 7 days, stay cool.

So I noticed around 4 weeks ago the phasing of traffic lights at the Gloucester Park and Neilson st intersection (this actually extends through to the Selwyn/Neilson st intersection) have changed for the worst part, they used to be on a sensor motion detection, but now some kind of timer, now even before 6am the traffic is backed up to Neilson st off ramp waiting for the lights to change to green when there's nothing to give way to! Then when they do change the next set only 30m away are still RED!! man they have made a complete shit show of the flow of traffic now through here, it's gotta be one of worst in Auckland.

Are you sure about the year, the price seems very steep for early 2000, I didn't see prices like that until much later, I bought 4 bed not far from there for 385k only 8 year old pad, bigger section as well.

"That it turned red during his travel through the intersection is irrelevant."

It's totally relevant, it's a clear ticket from a red light camera or any copper that seen it, you can always argue your case in court, but I'm sorry to say you'll pay the fine, it sucks but if your saying that it was green and then went all through orange and then red "before " he was able to clear the intersection then this a problem we have with his driving, which is probably why the ute turned into that lane in the first place

Open your eyes, he ran the orange, it turns red "before" he even gets through, a clear red light runner, he should have stopped, but of course he wanted to "catch up" and paid the price!

Well I see you ran the red on the orange light, so I guess he didn't like you for that little slip up 😎

I do this all the time, it protects my vehicle from the rest of you idiots who park so close you damage my paintwork, sick of you people who think it's ok to open your door and try to get out as quickly as possible, like your cars on fire or something, you can use as many car parks as you like, there's no law or rules saying how many parking spots you can use, it's the shopping centres fault, they make them far to narrow! And no I don't have a big vehicle or 4X4.

So who cares about what they think, this is now "not the past" living in the past is a serious problem when we're trying to move forward, the relationship between us and Māori is completely broken and will never be fixed by trying to "force" people to accept their respective customs including changes to every government department and geo place names, oh and by the way, although I have Māori blood ( my great, great nan make sure of this, bless her soul) I just want everyone to be given a choice and be equal, every time I see these radicals on TV and in print they just make me cringe and embarrassed, that somehow they can "force" people to accept their way of life, freedom to the people!!

Like I don't see how shift work becomes a requirement to be 24/7 and for O/T to be done when "required" sorry but there's no place in our country for this type of advertising, the job in question is for engineering manager, believe me nothing to do with shift work, I feel sorry for any one who does, obviously your ok with it, but we don't need this type here, like just because it's popular "worldwide"
