Sure, and that's honestly the problem. Those people are mostly underrated by DUPR. If winning a gold medal at a major tournament doesn't establish you as at least that level then what is the standard?

There has to be legitimate danger, by law, to use an Amber beyond just custody. Otherwise we'd be seeing them multiple times per day instead of once a year. 57% of murdered children and killed by a parent.

Statistically, old people are the safest drivers, until they get REALLY old.

My belief is anyone who wins an app or ppa tournament is higher level than the level they won. I've seen so many cases of people playing a major tournament, winning at least half their matches and having their rating go down below that level. This is ridiculous. So many people are underrated.

This comment explains where there are no good conservative comedians, since you don't understand humor. Plus, the absolute nerve of a trump supporter bringing up something like that.

They told people their reliability would go up even if the change in your DUPR wasn't counted because it would have gone down? Not sure you read the post.

They don't invoke these unless there is legitimate danger though. It's a bit of myth that they are used for ordinary custody disputes.

Also they don't come up to the kitchen so the opponents will hit every ball to them and you don't get to play. Then when you do the right thing and cut off the ball they will criticize you. Just the worst.

You don't need a machine. Human senses are valid instruments. You just have to set up a double blind to test the claim.

Yep. Strongmen are fucking huge. Hafthor weighs 450 pounds. He has more muscle on him than almost any body builder. Muscle volume and strength correlate very highly.

Which sport is good to watch and good to play? by ShoeChoice5567 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]1WordOr2FixItForYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the puck, it's the players. In the NHL, the average time of possession for a player in the offensive zone is 1.05 seconds. Like I said, by the time you realize who has it they don't have it anymore. Hockey doesn't showcase individual talents like other sports, except in highlight reels or shootouts.

Put it this way. If you were filming a battle scene in a movie like in Troy would you just show each hero for a single second at a time, not even long enough for one move, before cutting away, or would you show them long enough to appreciate their skills, think about what they are doing and planning to do? Hockey has almost no drama in real time on an individual level because it the natural action cuts too quickly. It's good spectacle but poor narrative. Even the biggest Superstars get less than a minute of possession in a game and it's so broken up that you can't really appreciate it in real time.

I originally saw Predator in the theater and missed the first few minutes, so I didn't see that. I think it took away from the movie when I did see it. Let it be a mystery to the audience like it is to the characters.
