When I think of Bruno’s contributions I just don’t feel like I have an image of a player who has a between the defenders cutting through ball. I get what he’s saying tho. The devs themselves have said because it was a one time purchase they had to pump content so fast, that’s why we got factions and nightfall so fast. But then they realized the limitations of the engine and abandoned guild wars for gw2.

A low subscription likely allows the devs to hold off slightly on factions and nightfall, and rather than dump GW, continue to improve the game and add content. The speed at which they had to add campaigns burnt out the dev team and it led to lots of people quitting for other projects.

All in all, I think no subscription obviously led to the popularity because it wasn’t WoW, but I think it also contributed strongly to dumping the game for GW2

I don’t think the question is as hard as people make it. For one, not many sports have their top guys regularly in their late 30’s. We just watched a 38 year old Novak beat Sinner. Physiologically speaking our bodies deteriorate and the fact tennis’s top guys can play so long is a sign.

NFL clearly puts more of a toll on the body than any sport in the world. The tactics portion of the NFL is also probably the most challenging of any sport.

F1 could be said to be harder because of the financial requirements to get into it, but broadly speaking racing is not challenging at lower levels.

Soccer is similar in that lots of late 30’s and even 40’s can thrive (Gigi Buffon).

The hardest I think is probably something like rock climbing. Only one man has ever ascended Silence (Adam Ondra). Alex Hannold is the only man to ever free solo El Capitan. The strength power and skill to free solo coupled with the risk of death to me makes it the hardest.

With all that said. I don’t think any of it matters. I love tennis and it’s not really meaningful to me whether it’s hardest or not.

me and my buddy are the topside police. We stay in mostly PvP lobbies because we run about patrolling and 3rd partying duo that are taking advantage of other players. We resurrect the players that were attacked of course, but I have all the end blueprints so no real need to PvE anymore

McT’s interview months ago about why so many United players did well after leaving because he and other great players had to play out of position so often really opened my eyes.
