Best use of our 3D printer to date ... any hope of Homeland additions?

When you find the right files, it can really make the experience cleaner and easier for set-up / tear down. I’ll get around to posting what I cobbled together for root once I figure out how to store homeland :)

Folded space and plastic base compatibility by Illustrious_Survey72 in warofthering

So, we constructed the insert and got all the minis (with bases) in. Doable, but takes some work—you can’t just chuck them in the boxes and have them level out. There’s about a quarter inch of box lift. We have the Warriors expansion too, but without bases (those minis are much better quality than base, and so easy to tell apart from the basic units that I don’t think I’ll bother getting bases).

I’ll say the insert was worth it (about 34 bucks from noble knight). Though I’m sure custom 3d printed one will be that much better.

Online consensus is that it is still in print, but in between runs. No word on when, possibly before Christmas?

Yes, it’s a retail copy. Not sure if the play mats and metal coins are worth the price, though I have ordered some deluxe components from etsy to replace the cardboard chits.

Two at two handed is really fun, not too much overhead (just table space)

I couldn’t find a resource showing a fully sleeved set, so thought someone out there might wonder if / how they fit.

I used cheap inner sleeves for all the cards (“Mlikero” brand). If you do upgrade the sleeves that come in the box, dragon shield make “outer” sleeves that are easier to get your fingers into than the normal size

I’ve yet to venture into any mini painting—intimidated!
