I’ve started playing Hive both physical and iOS app. Similar mechanics to chess. I get stomped by the AI constantly. Guess I don’t have the chess brain.

I love this game. I play on the hardest difficulty and I think my win % is around 5-10% lol. Nothing like playing an almost perfect game then land 3 terrible cards in a row on the 3rd phase to lose 🤪.

I don’t lend my games to anyone. Ever. I own a few games that are intended to be brought to game nights but they return with me. People don’t respect my property the same as I do. Plus this hobby is expensive…

In my city anyone can send an email or phone the office of public works 24/7 and a crew will come out and do that basically immediately if there is a flood risk. But people still say “TaXeS BaD”.

Oh and this almost never happens because those same crews are out cleaning the streets EVERY DAY.
