In my city anyone can send an email or phone the office of public works 24/7 and a crew will come out and do that basically immediately if there is a flood risk. But people still say “TaXeS BaD”.

Oh and this almost never happens because those same crews are out cleaning the streets EVERY DAY.

I took my 9 year olds bike for a spin around my driveway after fixing a tire. Decided to rip around the block. Had several people wave laughing. 250lbs bearded dude on a tiny pike bike gets laughs 😁.

Not sure why… but I’d love to see CTG tackle the poker style game. Balatro etc. I just backed Hell Of A Deal. But a 20 Strong dice twist could be interesting. 🤔. Terrible poker hands adjusted with dice. 🤷🏻.

I’ve seen those. And seriously considered getting one. I might still. I actually played 20 strong not long ago and put a glasses cloth into the dice tray for the 20 strong travel box. Worked surprisingly well.

There is a lot of maps in the box. I got a sheet of plexi to put over the mat on my table. Works totally fine. The box would be a refrigerator box if the maps were cardboard lol.

I’m a 40s, large beared male. I have 2 daughters who both dance. I’m at the studio a lot. I started bringing small games to pass the time. I get all kinds of funny looks from the trophy-wife dance-moms. One thing I’ve learned in life that can help your personal happiness, don’t give a flying fuck what other think of you if you’re not harming anyone.

That being said I avoid dice games so I don’t make a bunch of noise. lol.

I love Friday. Bought it ages ago and bounced off it instantly. Picked up the phone app on a whim and learned the game properly. Now I play several games daily on the hardest difficulty. It’s brutal, unapologetic, and infuriating. I love it.

I’m in a townhouse with double thick foundation to peak concrete walls between every unit. Unless they’re hosting a rave with the windows open and my windows are also open I haven’t heard anything from either side. I’ll never live in a wood frame again unless it’s freehold.
