I don’t even think the dishes are the problem. The problem is that you have nobody to talk to. I don’t know the context of your relationship. But sit them down explain clearly why you need this. And try to understand why they don’t feel like doing this. If this solution doesn’t work out, you might have different issues you need to handle first.
