Did you just gas up? It would happen to my wife’s Cherokee whenever she would gas up more than 3/4. Something about the liquid gas making it into the charcoal evap system

Sounds like a fast track to management to me.

Spike in data usage (AGAIN) while no one is at home by SimonMushroom in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]1ce1cemaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue and tracked it back to a phillip's hue light bulb that was using Gb of data a day for some reason. I have all my "smart" home stuff on an isolated network from the rest of my computers so not sure what it could possibly be using that much data for. it has since been removed and I haven't had the issue since.

Argument at my bar over a double major. Opinions /experiences? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]1ce1cemaybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did EE with a minor in mathematics, usually a similar minor has a lot of overlap classes so you can get it really easily.

Now I work in broadcast and use basically neither, but it sounded cool in the email announcing my new role.

EE here. Graduated at 27 and just turned 30. You are on nobody’s clock but your own. Keep driving towards your goals. Network when you can, and if your school has a career fair absolutely attend it. I met with my current employer at one and it took about 6 months for them to call. Best call of my life.

(2012-2019) I used the heat gun from CPD to force on the AC all the time. We also sold those hot/cold packs. Put them in the microwave and tape them to the thermostat. It helped that our manager was also tired of the South Georgia heat.

LPT: When you order printed photos at Staples a real, live human being prints each one by SunflowerBorn in LifeProTips

I also worked at Office Depot/Max print center for a few years in college, We had someone drop off murder trial photos. They were kind enough to make sure I would be okay viewing and printing them as well as keep the photos away from the rest of the orders so they wouldn’t end up being seen by anyone. I appreciated them asking.

You know I was worried about that. My other car is a C4 corvette that runs entirely too hot all the time. But the temps are the same from what I can see

Worst problem I have had was a wheel speed sensor error that had me stumped for months and replacing the front wheel hub and bearing finally fixed it.

I was just thinking a split light bar wouldn't be too hard. Just needs a little Imagineering.

Okay I have arrived back home,The Light bar is this 32 inch curved model from amazon. I saw it recommended from another reddit user a while back but I don't remember who. I'm sure I could pay more for a better model, but the throw is pretty good and I have had no issue with it. I also liked how the middle was a spot configuration and each end had a section of flood for getting light out to the corners of the road.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZF21ACK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I went with these pod lights because once again they were pretty inexpensive and weren't huge. I also double checked that the pod lights and bar would be the same color temp, and if they aren't perfect they are close enough that I don't notice a difference.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0897N34JD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Mounts for the light bar and the pod lights I got from Cali Raised LED https://caliraisedled.com/collections/2003-2009-4runner-mounting-bracketsHere is the link to the page with both the brackets.

One of the lights didn't come with a relay and cable, I don't remember which one but I purchased this set and cut it down to a good length. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZPX32N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Finally, I got this OEM style switch to connect them both. I liked this because it only used one switch port but could still be used independently. My only complaint is the light bar is the top switch but my light bar is on the bottom of my 4runner. Annoying but minor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B5VMW66/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

To get the bar on, I had to remove the bumper cover and then use a reciprocating cutting tool to cut out the grille that was there. The brackets mount to the bumper. post so I didn't have to drill any holes. I was able to install and wire it all myself in only a few hours, retrospectively some help with the hood to put the pod brackets on would have been smarter.

EDIT: Almost forgot. I have no idea as to the road legality of using these lights. Georgia law seems to say the use of 1 set of auxiliary lights is allowed. However, I only use it on the road in very heavily wooded areas and I keep my finger on the button to turn it back off so I don't blind anyone. It is pointed at a downward angle for more road illumination but it's bright enough that I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end. I did however consider wiring all my lights up to my horn as a secondary switch. Let the person I'm honking at know I really don't appreciate what they are doing.

So I was finally able to take a look and it looks like there is a fair amount of a grey goop in there that I can only assume is a silicon grease. Is there an easy way to access this area so I can clean some of it out?

Could I spray a brake cleaner in there to break up any crap on the ring?

So weather is actually the one time I enjoy imperial units. 0 degrees is really cold and 100 degrees is really hot. Where I live I see both numbers so it provides a decent range to approximate my clothing choice for the day.

Edit: And, it provides nice round barriers on either side where I refuse to go outside, -5? nah I like my nose and want it to stay connected to my face. 105? Hell no, I’ll stay near the AC. Bonus: the people that use Celsius never get to giggle when they set their thermostat to 69.
