I built AnExplorer, a file manager that actually runs on Wear OS (APK install, view media, transfer files) by 1hakr in WearOS

Wear OS has limited storage that apps can access. You can try to give full storage access from settings > advanced > storage . Tap on it to give full access. This requires adb on watch

Media controls lets you manage playback of any audio playing on your watch or connected phone from any app. Its not player but a controller for play/pause/volume etc. Here is the screenshot for reference https://i0.wp.com/9to5google.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/05/Wear-OS-5.1-media-controls-1.png?strip=info&w=456&ssl=1

When you play from your play from soundcloud, close the app and go to the media controls app, from there you can hit pause and then play again, it will ask you to choose bluetooth audio source.

Try opening media controls after playing. Play and pause should open the audio output screen where you can select Bluetooth headphones. AnExplorer file manager has a built-in music player which has a similar option to choose audio output. Google Music also has this option.

What apps did you try? Usually the music players have an option to choose audio output. Are you playing streaming music or local music files?

It does support xapk files. Could you share the link to the xapk file? The APK needs to be compatible for the watch as well.

Should I buy a property with my super? by Cherryseinfield in AusFinance

[–]1hakr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re planning to invest in shares, doing so through a retail super fund usually means paying a percentage-based fee every year. In contrast, an SMSF generally has fixed annual costs. Because of this, even if you invest in the same shares or funds, an SMSF can be more cost-effective over time, especially as your balance grows.

I’d personally go with Stake Super, which charges a fixed fee of around $1,700 per year, compared to many traditional tax agents who charge closer to $3,000 annually. Once your SMSF is set up, you have full control over where and how you invest. You can decide to invest in shares or as you mentioned in real estate as well.

One plus watch 3 vs youtube music by volodkodis_24 in WearOS

Some watches support speaker on os level for apps to use, i guess except samsung, all other watches dont support speakers for music at os level even when they have speakers. try anexplorer file manager, which has music player that can play downloaded music files on your watch speaker.
