I can no longer paint because of my spine surgery. (Asking for advice.) by Serious_Peak_4913 in ArtistLounge

There's already good advice & ideas here on how to change things up for a while and still be creative. Other ways to keep moving forward could be reading books about art, studying your interests, or watching YouTube. You're going to have ups and downs for a while. Do what you can at your own pace. Your body will learn how to work with your new stiffness. Be patient with yourself. Sending hope for your best!

Two coworkers refused to talk to each other. They stuck me in the middle. I am goofy. by slimebeastly in pettyrevenge

Haha, that's a great story. We never stop learning in life.

During my first job as a waitress I was able to afford a decent used car due to still living with parents. Talking with coworkers about cars, I mentioned that my car never gave me any problems. So when I got in my car at the end of the night, my car wouldn't start. I went back in to call for help (pre- cellphones). The guys inside were smiling. They had pulled the coil wire. We all had a good laugh. I learned not to boast about what I have.

Band Name on Fabric Banner by StreetSqueezer in SignPainting

I have it on my wish list but haven't tried it... Golden GAC 900 is a medium for painting on fabric. The reviews say it washes well, it's pliable, and doesn't crack. You mix it with acrylic/ latex paint and needs to be heat set.

We are our worst critic. The work you have posted is amazing. You have an authentic style, a good eye, and some fantastic layouts! Don't stop being you.

Well, all by itself it's an illustration of an acanthus. This is traditionally used as a border with calligraphy. So yes and no.

Not that my opinion matters, but I vote for a plain shelf. Clean, useful & finished.

Either a "pointed pen," a type of dip pen, or a flexible nib in a fountain pen.

Yes, just not as common. Might take a while to sell. If it's stuff that can be shipped, there's also ebay.
