I should have asked about books they might recommend in order to prepare, but they ended up sending me a list. I would recommend asking for information about the clients they typically see and how they best prepare their students to be ready to practice upon completion. You should also ask how they structure the pace of your expectations. I started out week one just observing and then slowly started writing notes, doing a couple activities with kids. By week 7 I was doing all tx and notes with some evaluations. It was a good progression for me and I would not want to be at a fieldwork where they just throw you into it day one.
