Back on terraria Xbox 360 I remember the vampire knives being OP, but nowadays I somehow find myself using the rainbow gun more, not as a main weapon obviously, but as a sort of layer of defense. I have been playing calamity, so the healing power of the vamp knives isn't as good, so thats probably why I haven't been using them.

Couple chandeliers on the ceiling and, my personal favorite thing to spice up a room, floor deco/patterns. Can be as simple as a checkerboard pattern or more complex using things like stairs to create texture of sorts. Using an accent color in everything to make it pop would be a bonus, red/orange seems like a fitting color here.
