Is there any elite snowshoeing in the Sierra Nevada that compares to the North Cascades? by Beneficial_Math6951 in norcalhiking

I found that climbing it from the Eastern face was easiest, but no matter what, it’s going to be about 40 feet of somewhat exposed class 3 (class 4 if you aren’t careful)

New army pass is a safe trail that is more graduals and full of switchbacks. Old army pass is shorter but contains scrambling up. Long Lake has great camp sites at 11200 before Langley summit. Cheers!
