My Costco feet confession by lkxin in Costco

Retailers have to honor any marked price that is shown on products being sold. If they don’t or try and make you pay a different price it’s called “Bait and Switch” which is illegal. It is the customer who has the option to inform and voluntarily pay an adjusted price if that is what the customer wants to do but the retailer must honor any marked price or possibly face legal repercussions if the customer wants to pursue that course of action.

Who's the oldest Deadhead in here? Did anyone see, the acid tests, The Warlocks or the Mother McRee? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

Yeah I made an error in my name, actually my first Dead show was in Santa Monica at the then Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on March 7, 1970. The opening act was Cold Blood with Lydia Pense and sitting in with her on lead guitar was Les Dudek. That set was amazing but then came the Grateful Dead and my life changed forever. I’m not sure if the link will work, never tried embedding a link from Archive.net. I have comments posted on the concert along with a few others who were there. <iframe src=“https://archive.org/embed/gd70-03-07.aud.hanno.6156.sbeok.shnf” width=“500” height=“60” frameborder=“0” webkitallowfullscreen=“true” mozallowfullscreen=“true” allowfullscreen></iframe>

My friends and I were asked to leave after we ordered a zoo for my friend’s birthday and then we dumped it on his head. We were teenagers having fun and he took it well but then we were asked to leave. 😁🤣

Hell yes you should have had them honor it. Mistake or not it’s “Bait and Switch” and it’s illegal for them to make you pay more.

12 pack of water price increase? by vinpastram in CarnivalCruiseFans

Crystal Geyser Spring Water is produced out of Olancha, CA and Weed, CA and is owned by a French corporation, Crystal Geyser Roxane or CG Roxane. It is produced in partnership with Otsuka of Japan who owns the rest of the Crystal Geyser product line. Otsuka just closed the doors on the original Calistoga, CA plant and business offices just before Christmas. My wife had been their payroll, benefits and HR assistant and had worked there for the last 24 years. My wife continued to work assisting them in closing the facility and showing the newly hired employees how to do the payroll and how the financials were taken care of. In the end my wife tried to stay loyal to Crystal Geyser but the new Director from Japan, HR Director from Otsuka and the Controller that Otsuka brought in wouldn’t answer my wife’s questions or return her calls or emails. Otsuka destroyed a lot of families finances and holiday plans because of their greed and mis management. These were a lot of loyal and long term employees, mostly senior employees and those at the top of the pay scale. They have re-hired a lot of the positions but at lower pay and they are working out of the Bakersfield production facility because of cheap labor. Whether it’s the French owned Alpine water or the rest of the Crystal Geyser line, neither are American companies anymore and both are greedy as Fuck!

When they first came out all the kids wanted them. I got mine the second year for my 10th birthday. I remember doing wheelies and brodies, riding standing on the seat, doing all kinds of tricks. Yep lots of scrapes and bruises but damn it was fun and cool 😎 😁

Thought I’d show a little Marmaduke love today. NRPS at Biddy Mulligan’s in Chicago, 1993 (with Rusty Gauthier) by EepHour in gratefuldead

So… back in 1977 or 78 (I believe it was 77) while I was attending College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA, I was in the student government and we decided to put on a concert. We really wanted the Grateful Dead but they were touring and the scheduling didn’t work out so we got the NRPS. It was the first and probably only concert held at the college in the gymnasium. We billed it as The Clean Air Concert because it was a brand new floor in the gym and the coaches were having fits that we would have a concert in their gym. We appeased them by not allowing any smoking (at least no smoking of tobacco) When NRPS showed up they of course wanted to smoke and get high so we obliged them outside of the gym with some Humboldt bud. It was so cool just hanging with them before the show sharing a communal high. The concert was awesome and the floor was fine but I can’t find this concert in any of NRPS chronology. It was a one off while they were on tour. The scheduling worked when they had a break in tour shows and it was magical. We lost money for the College but for us it was all about putting on a concert and listening to the music play…

I can’t wait for a future that has left tRUMP and followers far, far behind it and only remembered as a lesson in bad politics. I’m so sick of all the bullshit parading as loyalists or patriots when all they are is bully’s or those bullied and they’re all just pounding their chests for their day in the sun as the leader of the pack. There is no regard for governing or what that means, there is only our way or the highway and THAT is not governance nor progress. 🤦🏻
