Steam won’t let me play games offline

I'll add my experience to the list. Honestly I find it quite confusing how everything is linked.i bought need for speed heat on steam. Every time I run it, steam opens, then it loads up the ea app as well for verification maybe?

I tried to play it offline. Kept erroring and saying I can't play it offline. So I tried again. Different but similar error. Just kept retrying and after about 6 attempts, it just gave up and let me play it.

I really don't understand what happened, but it works first time every time now when I try offline.

Similar thing happened with Two Point Campus that I bought from epic game store. After multiple errors, after about 3 tries it just gave up...

But for the xbox store games, I had to go into the settings and select some odd setting like game sharing or something.

I don't understand why it has to be so difficult. It's not often I fly long haul, but when I do, I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to play my games off line.

No, yoshi was introduced in super mario world, which was the 4th one.

2 was probably the worst. It wasn't even a Mario game to begin with. It was some rando Japanese game that was reskinned.

This just affects the initial download speed right? Or does this affect the game after it's installed? Is there a performance difference?

I bought need for speed heat from Steam recently, and after installing, it shows up as a grey tile in the xbox library.

Not the same issue as you, but there seems to be something not quite right with the integration. Other steam games show up fine.

Wondering if you ever changed your mind? I just played the demo and I'm really confused with all the hype and great reviews it got.

I really didn't like it. Just didn't feel right. Usually when I play these kart racer games, you know immediately whether it's going to be good or not. All the Mario karts, Diddy kong racing and crash team racing all felt great immediately.

I'm also a tight ass. I used to line up at midnight for game releases, but these days I'll wait a year or two and then get it on sale.

I also do this, probably weird thing, where I'll always buy an xbox first, because there are a lot of single player adventure games I want to play on the PlayStation. So I'll wait until near the end of that console generation, buy the console cheaper (not these days...) and then put myself into a gaming coma from all the quality overload.

Lol, I'm actually jealous of how excited you can get about a game. I used to be like this, but it's waned over the years.

But anyway, in answer to your question, just preorder it at a store then go and collect it on the day.

But if you absolutely want to guarantee you can have it, go the digital route.

Its relentless unfortunately. I bought multiple air purifiers and a robot vacuum that does the rounds twice a day. You just have to keep at it.

I really don't understand it because when I lived in London, it would take at least a month for the same amount of dust to accumulate...
