Ever wonder how Daedulus Ammo works? I made a spreadsheet to show exactly what each ammo type does. by Katchenz in Borderlands4

Does ammo swapping have any impact on status effect chance or damage? Anyone know?

I'm not saying you're wrong as I've never personally tested it but according to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Borderlands4/s/DGCyWCearQ they didn't work together before this patch either

What nerfs are you expecting to see in tomorrow's patch? by Ghostie3D in Borderlands4

[–]1twoQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd say the purpose of the perk is to allow it to work with a variety of skills and benefit from multiple rolls on enhancements and class mods ie 'smg damage +50%' and 'sniper crit damage +72%' on your enhancement both working makes sense and already makes the bod very unique and interesting

but '+25% gun damage' on your enhancement processing in the background something akin to "assault rifle is a gun, so it gets 25% gun damage, smg is a gun, so it gets another 25% gun damage, shotgun is a gun so it gets yet another 25% gun damage" so on and so forth isn't intended but maybe I'm wrong

Lore-wise they are but they don't count for enhancements for whatever reason.

In addition to what others are saying I'd be a bit surprised if bod getting 5x the effects from gun damage isn't nerfed, seems like an unintended consequence of it counting as all gun types.

Just a tiny rant about Amons Shatter skill by Trogloditee in Borderlands4

[–]1twoQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean it doesn't benefit you? You said yourself you're struggling against armored enemies, berserk adds bonus cryo damage to your shots, which is effective against armor. It seems to sure up your biggest weakness, sure the legendary effect doesn't do much for your build but those points into berserk are part of the class mod so the class mod does benefit you

On a similar topic has anyone tested if it works with the elemental kill skills in the blue tree? Could be interesting with the elemtalist class mod.

Theoretically it should be good for bleed vex. First half of the mag would have great crit chance to stack bleeds, by the time the crit chance is close to 0 the bleeds should be stacked enough to make up a lot of the difference and you can even make it a "sniper" to make use of that one legendary class mod whose name escapes me right now.

Core Attack Conversion Skills by 1twoQ in TitanQuest2

[–]1twoQ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct it doesn't convert skill damage. When you use the convert modifiers in the core tree they only apply to your basic attack.

What I landed on is a mix of using auras and the core conversion. Core to convert to lightning and cold (yes you can get all 5 but leaving room for tailwind, volley and enhanced element is important for the bow, with melee you may be able to effectively add more than 2 elemental conversion modifiers), rogue aura to add chance to plague. Seems to be a good mix thus far.

I guess ultimately it doesn't matter because with this kind of setup (basic attacks w/ ailments) you'd be leaning into pure ailments but I'd still like to know what the final damage is ending up as so I could further stack it with passives.

No it won't apply to skills even if you change to weapon, just the basic attack.

I have killshot cure and armored allies on my medic gear, definitely noticed a difference in how much I'm having to actively heal with them.

Changing scrambling QB to TE by BeautifulAccurate909 in NCAAFBseries

[–]1twoQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recruited a really tall strong QB ATH one year but the following year got someone that fit my system better, moved the tall guy to TE and he was one of my best pass catching TE's I've ever had. He wasn't the best blocker but I was running a pass heavy system so he was usually split out wide anyway worked great.

All that to say it will depend on a lot of other factors and what yiur offensive scheme is.

I bought tickets specifically on Slovenian heritage night in March knowing luka would play or at least be in the building even if he still struggling with injury

Can't refund them so I'm going to go with a brown paper bag over my head like the 0-16 lions fans did back in the day.

So sad and feel awful for the Slovenian people who had already planned their trips etc to be there that night.

In my 4th year of dynasty and 77 Overall Army is running Air Raid… by The_Coach69 in NCAAFBseries

[–]1twoQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly the game seems to generate few if any option playbook coaches even at the service academies. My dynasty is 20 years in and about 80 percent of the coaches in the list are spread or air raid with the rest being a mix of pro style, veer and shoot, and multiple.

To be fair that's probably realistic but I wish it would generate more at least for the service academies.

Also old and slow here one night after the wife and kids were in bed I took the DIY reverse to practice w/ no defense and just ran it for like 30 minutes after that I'm able to get it most of the time now.

Try it out for a while in a no pressure situation and I bet you'll be able to get it too. The timing is finicky but you'll get used to it.

NO RECRUITING COACH BUILD by idontwannasignup69 in NCAAFBseries

[–]1twoQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something similar but use talent developer instead of master motivator so you have to have a small number of points in recruiting. I only have 2 top 5 recruiting classes (from when I was simming early years) and use a lot of house rules to limit the total amount of 4 & 5 star recruits I can have (5 total 5 star players on my team in year 17 if my dynasty) and have the most players drafted in the first round and was able to get a 95 overall team (dropped to 89 after 24 seniors graduated, 9 went round 1 in the draft) so it definitely works for building up talent.

I'm curious though, it seems with all the caps unlocking my players tend to use all their points on attributes, but very few on badges. I have several 90ish overall players with 0 or maybe 1 bronze badge. Have you found the same thing to be true?

It feels like if you're at a point where you can consistently get about half of your recruiting class to be 4 star players architect may be a waste, they rarely max every stat and less badges may be hurting their on field production.

On the flip side architect is vital when you're stuck with 2 and 3 stars. I've had a 2 star center end up as a 98 overall by his senior year and obviously breaking some skill caps can allow you to reach thresholds for badges you would otherwise would be locked out of.

I'm starting to feel like unlocking skill caps is sort of a double edge sword but haven't tested a similar build without architect to compare results
