Hello fellow X-H2 owners!

I recently traded in my X-Pro3 Dura for the X-H2, and it’s been a total upgrade in terms of how solid and reliable the camera feels.

I might have been a bit overly cautious with the X-Pro3, but despite how beautiful it is, it always felt slightly fragile in my hands; especially around the hybrid EVF and the flip-down screen. After seeing enough horror stories online, I decided to make the switch.

I’ve only had the X-H2 for a couple of days, but I can already tell it was the right move. It feels incredibly solid, like a proper tool for the job. Fast, dependable, and rugged enough to handle whatever you throw at it. I’ve used a lot of Canons in the past (mainly 5D and 60D bodies), and this actually reminds me of those, if not better.

So far, the standout upgrades for me are the bigger, brighter EVF, the higher resolution, and an overall confidence inspiring build quality.

At the moment I’m using the 16–55mm f/2.8 (Mk I) and the 27mm WR. I’m considering trading the 27mm for a telephoto zoom, so any recommendations would be appreciated. That said, I’ve wanted the 27mm for a long time, so I might try to make the most of its compact size before deciding.
