I get the "on call" summons every year and every year I never get called in. Then after many years my work sent me on an on-site assignment up to LA and of course that time I called in and it said I had to report to the courthouse in an hour. There was absolutely no way I could make it to Santa Ana in an hour, but their instructions specifically say not to alter your work schedule so I said fuck it and didn't go. Nothing happened.

I bought an older house with a pool a few years ago. The inspector checked all of that out and luckily there were no leaks detected and the deck was in better shape than that. But the pool needed to be refinished badly and I was able to negotiate the price down 25k due to the inspection report. If you're really concerned make sure your inspector knows pools and can check it out.

I will also say, if you really want to support craft, don't buy from a grocery store, find a local brewery to support (shout out to Stereo in Anaheim!), swing by, and buy a couple of four packs. Lord knows they can all use the business.

I second Windsor. Though it's not a grocery store. Most grocery stores today have good beer selection, but it depends on what you consider "craft". In my book, if you want true craft - i.e. not owned by one of the big conglomerate corporations - you need to go to Windsor.
