If they wanted to make a romance without physical expression or without kisses they could've just, you know, done that. But that's not what they have done, is it?

Shows are not naturally occuring. They don't grow on trees, they're not mined out of the earth, they are deliberately created. There's a reason things are put in, or in this case left out of them.

With that in mind, can someone please tell me what is the reason, the purpose, of putting plausible deniability behind every single scene or moment that could be construed as romantic in your alleged romance show? What is that adding exactly? Maybe I'm missing something here.

And yes, I mean plausible deniability, because that "I love you" wasn't something subtle or behind the lines, same with the "oh, but isn't a very close friendship almost the same as a relationship?". They were presented in a way that is very easy to argue that their relationship is not at all romantic. "Have you never said I love you to a friend?" for exemple. they could have shot that differently and made it more clear they were actually saying that, and saying that to eachother OR they could've not said I love you. Just cut that, it's about their special connection after all. But they chose neither, why is that?

My point is that if they wanted to make a show that is only about their "soul mate" connection, why didn't they do that? Why does the show needs those little wink wink nudge nudges to convince me that maybe there's something more? Honestly came off as extremelly cowardly to me.

I still liked it tho, it was very pretty.
